although i’m surprised that they didn’t go nuts when the had the congress and the president. slash military by 2/3, increase taxes 40 percent. stuff like that.
and i was surprised, then we had the congress and presidency back in the 2000s, that we didn’t have much smaller debts. the war can excuse some of it, but i’ve never heard of CUTTING taxes during wartime.
that’s kind of a universal thing, and not a dem thing.
