I think it would be much better if a range of real Republican candidates were debating, instead of the circus and name calling it is now. Despite what people claim, actual ideas that might benefit the country are not the focus. It’s all personalities, and outrage, etc.

Perhaps Sen. Cruz is pointing out Mr. Trump’s record because it’s factual, and by the way, Mr. Trump has recently gone bat-guano cRaZy!

Why Donald threatening to sue Cruz over his eligibility if he said Cruz was eligible to run for president last September?
No, it wasn't. He didn't necessarily have to attack Trump, but he shouldn't have cozied up to him. It makes me think that when the chips are down, Cruz might side with the left and the establishment and trash the Constitution.
And now, the scorpion bit him.
This is the field The Donald has chosen and designed. It suits his strengths.
It’s brilliant. Donald can never beat Cruz on intellect, argumentation, debates, depth, character, knowledge, etc.
But Donald excels at nasty street fighting. Which is where he has taken everyone: to the lowest common denominator of grade school bullying.
It works for Donald. It’s frankly brilliant. He can’t win otherwise, but he can dominate in the field he has forced everyone else to fight on.
My post was actually in response to cruz’s team saying the were entertained by Trump.

That’s why Trump thought Obama was great and doing a great job because Trump reads people so well.
Cruz is a Junior Senator from Texas with a whopping 4 years under his belt.
He’s got mental jiujitsu down. But how to take a 5% candidacy through that maze with the 40% Donald-Mothra destroying everything in its path? Not by direct confrontation, IMHO.
So, everyone has played their hand masterfully, in my opinion. Cruz is as strong as he could have possibly hoped, given where he was the moment Donald announced. He’s #2, ready for the fight.
Any other tactic would have had Donald eviscerate him in September, in my opinion.
Cruz has never stopped defending the Constitution. He’s just bobbed and weaved as necessary while doing so.
There ARE facets of Trump that are praiseworthy. Sadly though, Trump is a pathologically lying lunatic.
Guess Washington never read that...before he built Fort Necessity.

Trump is more intelligent than everyone else on the stage, including whoever you support. He’s not worth over 10 billion because he does not know how to handle or read people or create great deals as you suggested. Btw just 1 billion is 1,000 million. Figure it out.
