We’d be raging mad if a Republican president were barred from nominating a replacement.

72 hours to start caving....not quite a record, but close.

Yup expecting Mitch McConnell to say no is like expecting a horse not to go water.

Hold hearings. Lot's of them. For months and months and months... I'm of this mindset too.
They should welcome a nomination, shut him/her/it down, and repeat. Thru January 2017.
Let the SCOTUS be a campaign issue, and play it up.

“Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, said he backs Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s view that Obama’s successor should make the nomination of a lifetime appointment.”
Then why is he even open to having a hearing? Typical mealy mouthed Republican.

Of course! They like being treated like prostitutes, without even being paid for their services.
In other words, cheap sluts.

They can drag the hearings out 11 months with no problem. It might not be a bad idea.

Well, that didn’t take long.
Explain to me again why we have an opposition party.

FORWARD. MARCH !
Get on the phones, email, threaten, cry, ...
THIS IS THE HILL TO DIE ON !
To: C210N
Yes, that would be the smart thing to do, all the while proclaiming that the nominee is “in process”, just like the Dems do...

Even RINO Supreme Hugh Hewitt agrees there should be NO HEARINGS.

Or they could just not have any hearings.

There’s nothing wrong with being open to a hearing. Schedule it between election day and thanksgiving when things calm down.

No, this isn’t a cave. It is called “going through the motions.”
Let Valerie send her nominee up. Hold two months of hearings, then vote them down.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
Until February 2017, when President (Carson, Cruz, Rubio, Trump) can send their nominee.
