Donald Trump on abortion: I'm Pro-Life (not according to the interview)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzGrSYWAkxg ^ | 2/15/15

This is an interview of Donald Trump by Mark Halperin at the Iowa Freedom Summit a year ago.

Donald is pro abortion, no matter how you slice it (no pun intended). He lays out several exceptions to why people should get abortions then throws that out the window and says it just depends on how pregnant someone is before they have an abortion.

He has not evolved, changed, or anything else. He's lying to us

Just another in a long laundry list of Trumps liberal positions his followers can accept or ignore.

After all he talks tough and will build a wall!

And you’re point is? It doesn’t matter. He’s close enough for many. Go Trump!

"After all he talks tough and will build a wall!"

A YUGE wall - and make Mexico pay for it.
(Shall he speak it into existence, maybe?)

I agree. If we can’t save every child from abortion, then I sure don’t support saving ANY child from abortion/s

Continue doing what we’re doing, it is working well./s

Donald is whatever he needs to be to whoever he’s pandering to for votes. And he’s right. At this point he could shoot someone in the street and his supporters wouldn’t care. Because he’s great!!!!

Of COURSE he’s not pro-life. But he looks like he will be the nominee and the Hildabeast will be POTUS. Or worse .... the GOP will be responsible for electing the most Liberal candidate out there.

After all he talks tough and will build a wall.

After all he talks tough and says he will build a wall.

He also allowed Holiday Inns believe his Atalntic City project was almost complete, when it wasn't. But, he won the deal by withholding the truth...and bragged about it in his book.

The deal this time is not investment dollars, it is votes. You think his attics will be any different this deal?

Donald Trump would have made a heck of a Commerce Secretary for Ted Cruz.

I agree, he is lying. He is lying about the wall, he is lying about 45% duty on Chinese goods, he is lying about forcing Apple to make their goodies here in USA, he is lying about keeping out the muzzies and he is lying about taxes.

Ted Cruz, Mr Filibuster sat on his hands and allowed the Senate to pass funding for Planned Parenthood and did nothing.

Donald Trump, as a private citizen, could only talk about that trainwreck. Ted Cruz was ON that train and didn’t pull the emergency brake. Don’t blame Donald Trump for that, blame Ted Cruz.

I listened to the interview and I think he handled a tough issue very logically. He’s pro-life while allowing for exceptions, life of the mother, rape and incest, which is a reasonable position for the majority of Americans and mainstream America. I’ve always said that we should promote adoption and moral values over total prohibition of abortion which is a fight we’ve already lost acc. to the Supreme Court.

It does matter.

Which choice are you going to make this election?

1) Status Quo
2) Socialism
3) Authoritarianism
4) Constitutionalism
********************
1) Status Quo = Clinton/Bush/Rubio/Kasich - People who think everything is going ok, things are good, don’t want things to change much. Leads to revolution, collapse of economy, war of enemies - will not recover from, more discontent, nothing will be solved.
People who think the system is not working, will pick from the below:
2) Socialism = Sanders - fairness, equality, brighter future and free stuff, scrap the whole thing for something new, don’t even understand the Constitution, and they don’t really know about Socialism. Fundamental change we can never recover from. People will TAKE other peoples stuff. We are no longer the country that we are, there’s no coming back.
3) Authoritarian = Trump - the system doesn’t work plus anger - disenfranchised people who want someone to pay for mistakes, tired of getting crapped on...don’t care how it happens, don’t care who has to pay, someone must pay - revenge. They want their America, they want a strong man to take revenge on people. DANGEROUS!! Look at how much is accepted now in the political system that would never have been accepted under Bush. See how far we’ve come because of Obama...how much more is “acceptable”. If you put in attitude, you don’t recover from that and bring back America, after 4 years of having that. Path to Fascism or Communism. Capitalism is destroyed for decades.
4) Constitutionalism = Cruz - If you believe in the Constitution and the American experiment, you can’t play the game of whether someone may or may not win. The stakes are too high on the other choices and we are running out of time. If you believe the system doesn’t work, that there is no equal justice, and you want to enforce laws, free the people to live their lives, ultimately reduce government, our future is at stake. This is the only choice that doesn’t lead to revolution.

Read history, do your own homework....these are the paths that have been taken before. History does repeat itself. What choice will you make this election? An educated one or a populace one?

Since all those things you mention are only to be known in the future, they are less risk to me than the outright, current lies that Cruz tells. Cruz lies about things are are known currently to be not as he says.

He says he’s pro-life with exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother.

He is asked about an abortion at the end of that clip and the guy talks over him, but if you’ll listen he says:

“It depends when....exceptions...”

In other words, as many fail to acknowledge, he is saying that even rape, incest, and life of the mother depend on when.

“And you’re point is? It doesn’t matter. He’s close enough for many. Go Trump!”

Is that like being half liberal?
