Donald Trump topped the first poll released Monday following the cage match debate on Saturday night.
Trump leads all candidates by 17 points in the Palmetto State.
All that 'Dubya' bashing didn't appear to hurt the GOP frontrunner much with South Carolina voters.

GO TRUMP!
Trump takes SC.
I’m calling it for Trump even before the polls close Saturday night in the Palmetto State.
Dont forget, we keep hearing how “beloved” W is in SC.
Apparently these are the the Jeb supporters.
From Drudge
Behind Trump, who has 35 percent support in a new poll, U.S. Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Ted Cruz of Texas are tied for second place â at 18 percent each, according to a Public Policy Polling survey released exclusively Monday to The State
Looks like Rubio may beat Cruz. Guess Rubio calling Cruz a liar worked.
The lies seem to be catching up with Rafael.
Liar! Liar! Liar! /trump
Rafael lies on a stack or Bibles. He should face a religious conviction for lying, giving false witness.
I don’t know why trolls like you are allowed on FR.
That’s probably because, as much as I’m not a Marco fan, he is correct about Cruz being a lie factory. I’m curious what Ted the Pious will throw out there today.
I donât know why trolls like you are allowed on FR.

Does it bother you? Are you that easily annoyed?
Bush was well liked in this state but not beloved.. and after he left office and was never seen in public again nobody thought much about him especially since how the Iraq ended up and people lost half their life savings in the crash let alone the too big to fail bailouts..,, that was all media BS about how much the Bush’s mean here in SC
the beloved status is saved for Strom Thurmond.. if you want to go to zero in the polls in 5 seconds talk crap about Strom
Just look at the RCP graphics Trump’s trend line going up
and Cruz trends down to Rubio.
RepudiaTED.
Whether you can believe Trump’s lead or not, you can believe Bush is doing ok. NC and SC are both high military states and numerous veterans we know are having problems seeing the Bush family in anything but glowing light. Sadly how they feel especially about Bush I has rubbed off on his son.
Nobody likes you.
If truth will out, I think Cruz has been running for a job in the new administration. He wants to be king maker. At the convention he intends to trade his 15% of delegates to whomever will promise him the best job. I think he has always coveted AG. He would give his delegates to Jeb if he got what he wanted. After all, Cruz is a donor-owned candidate anyhow and his religious followers are mere chattel to him.
