Trump supporters are very much like those who supported Obama, especially in '08.
If you asked them the reasons for their loyal support when he hadn't done anything, they'd utter that they thought he would do such and such. Even today, they can't admit they made a mistake, they merely blame "the system, Republicans, the problems with the economy were bigger than even Obama thought.........!
