“Trump fights against anyone who is in his way.”
But he’s not fighting, he’s threatening to sue and go third party if the negative ads don’t stop. That’s called throwing a temper tantrum.
Either one will nominate better justices to the SC than Trump.
Can we get Gilmore back in?
Trump is not a conservative. Cruz is, but not more than some of the others. He is playing you. Cruz is a conservative yes, but he is not the ‘purist’ he is playing and not the only one.
I tried to find a picture of his rump to post, but all I could find were pictures of Christie’s back side.
Go ahead and get played. We will see wont we? i shill for no one. I just want to win. Rubio does have the best chance. Cruz might not even win his home state, which is where I live.
Truth and I will vote for either one, I just think Rubio has the better chance of getting elected.
You're deluding yourself. With as much anti-establishment sentiment as there is, any establishment choice is going to be a Hillary win. It will be just like Romney who never garnered more than 30% support in a primary, went to the general, and had his butt handed to him because the base was pissed off.
And Rubio is the establishment's choice after Jeb!
A Trump/Rubio ticket makes a lot of sense. They just might have bonded over disgust with Cruz's devious campaign.
Rubio has consistently supported amnesty, while Cruz has fought it.
Here's why:
"Access to the DC Trough is obviously much more important than the future of their own Party or country." (from Breitbart.com)
He brought it on himself.
If he wants to lay down and cry, that’s fine by me.
Yeah right, the establishment has spent close to 60 million trying to unseat Rubio. He is way too conservative for them. They may rally after him, but they do not want him. Cruz is hated by them because he can’t get elected and managed in a very short time to just about piss everyone off. If you really think he can get elected go for it. Rubio is no Romneny, Romney lost because he was a lousy candidate.
No they really aren’t.
BTW, I’ve been following politics ever since John Kennedy was shot. I still remember standing outside a storefront watching the tv news in black and white right after it happened, totally in shock. In my young mind I wondered what could be so important about politics people would shoot each other over it. And yet, I come to the FR of today and I see the same destructive spirit. It still breaks my heart.
As for Cruz, I think he’s a good guy, and the right guy for the presidency. He adjusted on the H1b visas. Good. That’s what our system is designed to produce, leaders who have both the strength to lead and the humility to listen.
And you cannot tell me the difference on citizenship is minor. It’s huge. Trump and Rubio are closer to each other than either of them is to Cruz. That’s just one of the many reasons why Cruz is more electable in the general than either of them. The attacks on his character are, IMHO, misguided, “friendly” fire that is injuring one of the best conservative candidates we’ve had in a long time.
Peace,
SR
Gee, and Cruz is the only real competition Donald has had in his 6 month long political career.
Coincidence?

Obviously we disagree. Interesting you trust Ted to adjust his position and not Rubio. Both will adjust many times before it is over. I just like Rubio better and think he matches up against Hillary better. My wife, as conservative as it gets, can’t stand Cruz and can not even explain why. I find a lot of people like that every day and I live in Texas.
