GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is going after Sen. Ted Cruz, calling the Texan "an absolute disgusting liar" during his town hall in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on Monday afternoon.
"He's taken so much money from so many different people," Trump alleged of Cruz, saying he's "totally controlled" by special interests and lobbyists. "Bush, the same thing," Trump said, referencing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and then Sen. Marco Rubio, "Rubio, the same thing."
"They will be totally controlled," Trump declared.
"Ted Cruz is the most dishonest guy I think I've ever met in politics," Trump said, responding to recent attacks by Cruz that Trump is pro-choice, while Trump vows he is pro-life.

Trump is a skilled carnival barker that has his followers so snake-fascinated they can’t think straight.

If he’s controlled by special interests, they must be staunch conservative special interests, since that’s how Cruz has voted throughout his Senate tenure. If there’s a special interest for repealing Obamacare, then please donate a few billion to the cause.
Is Free Republic controlled by “special interests” since it takes donations? Maybe a liberal should donate 10 grand and force Jim to zot all the conservatives...if it’s so easy.
But I thought Trump was upset with Cruz for his negative campaigning. Do as he says not as he does I guess.
It’s as if he wants to see just how over the top he can go before his supporters start questioning their support. I’ve felt that way for a few months. I question whether he really wants to be president.
I think this was supposed to go like last time he ran, but it got a life of its own and he’s trying to figure out a way to kill it without being obvious.
