Under a Trump presidency, Americans would lose their gun rights and religious liberty and see abortion rights dramatically expanded, Cruz said Monday morning on Fox News.

So, we disregard what Trump said just this past August? Oh, ok.
Keep your head in the sand. I personally care what people have said beyond this past month.
More from Trump if you’re interested:
“One of the ways I can fight back is to bring a lawsuit against him relative to the fact that he was born in Canada and therefore cannot be President. If he doesn’t take down his false ads and retract his lies, I will do so immediately. Additionally, the RNC should intervene and if they don’t they are in default of their pledge to me.”

I think it comes down to this: After we the Tea Party gave the R's the reigns in the House and Senate and got stabbed in the back (in mire ways than one) folks are tired of it and have zero trust in what ANY Politian has to say or promise.
Trump is different. Though not a 100% conservative he is conservative on this issues that need to be addressed to turn this country around....and many are willy to give it "one last roll of the dice"
Many claim Trump is in it for himself, that in a way can be viewed as with his ego, he wants to go down in history as a great leader of this country and the one who turned it around.
I don't criticize him for being a self promoter which many think is a negative, far from the truth. WE are all self promoters.
You didn't get a job, wife, girlfriend etc by not promoting your self, Trump is at a completely different level is all.
IMO, DC and the elitists are the problem with this country, Trump can destroy that.
I think Cruz could too, but to a lesser extent.
JMHO
What exactly has Ted lied about?
Because Trump said he lied, that’s it? Show me where he’s LIED????????
So the government can use that money to resettle more Syrians. Okay, I got it. Of course you are aware the government will never tax us less.
No. Cruz lies. His record, having been given the political keys to the kingdom, has been to vote TPA (anti-business trade authority to Obama), Corker (funding for Iranian terrorism) and 500% increase in H-1B visas (total job killer for US citizens). You see, today’s liberal is just another globalist in a different party. Cruz and Hillary agree on the things that matter to them... Keep that hedge fund money flowing!
No. I disagree that Cruz lies. I think Cruz is fighting fire with fire when it comes to Trump and it is about time.
“The bottom line is, there’s been this disturbing pattern the last couple of weeks of Ted Cruz saying things that are not true. Just in the last week, he’s lied about my record on marriage. He’s lied about my record on Planned Parenthood. Of course he lied about Ben Carson in Iowa. Last night Donald Trump says he’s issuing robocalls, doing the same thing to him. And then he also isn’t telling the truth about immigration,” Rubio said.
It’s ruined already, and we will be paying the price for at least two decades.
Cruz is flailing. Throwing wild haymakers. This tells me that he’s firmly in second place in SC, and he is doing and saying whatever he can. It also tells me someone (Rubio?) is coming up fast and he fears this upstart will pass him.
Ted Cruz hasn’t lied about any of those things that Trump has claimed.
Show me exactly what Ted said, and show me how it’s a lie.

Cruz tells The Brody File. “On marriage, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have the same position, (that) the Supreme Court’s decision on marriage is the settled law of the land weâve got to accept it and move on”.
But after the Supreme Court ruling last summer redefined marriage nationwide, he said âyou have to go with it,” because it is “the law of the land.” Kim Davis, he said, should not be forced to issue gay “marriage” licenses - either her clerks should issue them instead, or homosexual couples could go to another county.

CRUZ: âFor most of his life, his policies have been very, very liberal. For most of his life he has described himself as very pro-choice, and as a supporter of partial-birth abortion. Right now, today, as a candidate, he supports federal taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. I disagree with him on that. That is a matter of principle-â
“I would look at the good aspects of it and I would also look because I’m sure they do some things properly and good, good for women, and I would look at that,” Trump said Tuesday on CNN’s “New Day” when asked if he would first look at the full gamut of Planned Parenthood services before defunding the organization.
As far as Trumpâs comments on Planned Parenthood funding are concerned, Trump has fairly consistently said he opposes taxpayer funding but heâs also made some remarks about the âgood thingsâ Planned Parenthood does that have alarmed pro-life voters â as if any âgood thingâ could make up for the fact that planned Parenthood kills 330,000 unborn babies s a year in abortions and then sells their body parts for profit.

Ted didn’t lie. His team went off reports that CNN put out. CNN, Ben Carson and Trump himself, caused the whole issue to escalate into what it was. And to this day, not ONE PERSON has come forward to admit or claim they voted for Cruz over Carson in IA. It’s a nothing burger and Trump continuing to push this erroneous narrative, shows how desperate HE is.
______________________________
The whole robocall thing, is a lie from Trump, not Cruz.
âWeâre not doing any robo-polls in South Carolina,â Cruzâs director of research told the Post. âItâs not us making those calls. Anyone can make those calls as Remington Research to screw with reporters and make Jeff look like heâs doing something.â

And the immigration thing is such a bogus narrative. Cruz has been consistent, about his stance on immigration: In 2011 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0h3Mu8BbjM
In 2013 - he went on Rush Limbaugh’s show BEFORE the Gang of 8 bill was voted on, and explained exactly what his amendment was meant for, which is the SAME THING he is saying about it today. If you can’t comprehend it was put in to get the Democrats and RINO’s to show their hand and flush out their agenda, than that’s your problem.

Nope, no lies here, except from your messiah Trump. Who uses Twitter incessantly, to smear Ted with lies and bogus accusations, to ruin his credibility. I’ll give him this, he’s using Alinsky tactics, very well.
Please, list the actual lies Ted has told. And show how they are actual lies.
Because if all you can do, is post little memes and ad hominem attacks, that just shows your argument is invalid.
“You canât even find the articles where Trump supporters are trashing those of us who think Code Pink backing Trumpâs new Iraq War position is an issue?”
I am not familiar with Code Pink.
Google: Bush administration preparation for Iraq war before 9/11.
For example:
1/30/01 Saddam’s removal is top item of Bush’s inaugural national security meeting. Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill later recalls, “It was all about finding a way to do it. The president saying, ‘Go find me a way to do this.’” [Date the public knew: 1/10/04]
How can it be that any elected official can say to his constituents the hxll with you.
I don’t need to hold town hall meetings and understand new bills and have votes in DC ....I’m running for Senate or President. BTW I’m also making tons of money from donor friends that will influence my votes in the old job even if I don’t win.
If one decides to run for a higher office the first step should be resigning from that lower office. These positions actually do require that they be serving their constituents.
After that, you're still looking to hear conservative rhetoric, and you'll be satisfied? Not me, that's why I'm looking as someone who's results-oriented, and not part of the establishment in-crowd. Trump.
Please give me a list of the Conservative results that Trump has produced. Not rhetoric, results. It sounds to me that you have settled for conservative rhetoric from someone who has espoused liberal policies and supported liberal politicians until a few years ago.
I have asked this of several Trump supporters on this site. I have been insulted and ignored, but I have never gotten an answer except that he is rich. Rich is wonderful, but there are many rich liberals.
I hope Ted Cruz is never nominated for consideration.
IMHO, Cruz should be known and remembered as one of the GOP Republicans who strongly defended Obama’s POTUS eligibility.
Bingo!
