Cruz's new Trump attack: He'd ruin the Supreme Court [Hail Mary Desperation by Cruz]
Washington Examiner ^ | 2/15/2016 | Paige Winfield Cunningham

Under a Trump presidency, Americans would lose their gun rights and religious liberty and see abortion rights dramatically expanded, Cruz said Monday morning on Fox News.

And RWR picked Sandra Day O’Connor and Anthony Kennedy, what’s your point?

To Trump, to lie about him is to show videos of what he said when he was in his lib era phase.

“He (Trump) lies about as easily as Hillary.”

Actually, he lies easier. At least Hillary has something in her eyes so that you know she’s lying. Ted just breezes through it as if he were telling the truth. That’s what a sociopath does.

Cruz said some of this garbage yesterday on Meet the Press.

Donald Trump has a conceal to carry and is a member of the NRA. His two sons are avid hunters and are also members of the NRA. He is always debating his liberal friends in New York City over gun control and says they always lose the debate, when he points out that an armed citizenry, would prevent more deaths. He says his first act as president is to undo the weapons ban on military bases and in every rally, he blasts the chipping away of our Second Amendment. And Ted Cruz says that if Donald Trump becomes president he would do away with the Second Amendment? Has Cruz lost his mind? This not only reeks of desperation, it is blatant lying and I am stunned that a man who claims to be a Christian, bears false witness like he does. I’ve got news for Ted Cruz, the Lord is more concerned about his witness for Christ, (provided he is a believer) than his ambition for elected office. If he considers Donald Trump to be as lost as he’s claiming, then why isn’t he setting a better example before Trump? It’s people like Ted Cruz that turn the lost away from having anything to do with Christianity.

Cruz is also putting out ads, claiming Trump is for Obamacare and gay marriage. By the way, Trump has trashed Obamacare since the beginning of his campaign. And I saw him in an interview, before he ever decided to run, saying he was not for gay marriage. I say these things as a born-again believer who greatly admired Ted Cruz for his conservative stand and had struggled with whether to get behind him or Trump. Today I am more determined than ever to see that Ted Cruz is defeated and Donald Trump elected President of the United States.

There’s something that I’m curious about. Why is it that we always hear about how every single person who works for Planned Parenthood is a bloodthirsty murderer. Even if they make appointments for other services besides abortion or counsel on birth control, which Trump says is good. I have yet to hear the real murderers called what they are. The lazy, self serving women who procure the services of abortionists to kill their own children because they would be “inconvenient” or “untimely” are never mentioned or called the murderers that they are. Why?

One thing for sure: those are Trumpian judges. Kennedy changes his position about once a week during deliberations on cases.

Hopefully Ted Cruz for POTUS/VPOTUS/SCOTUS is over.

Cruz’s “filibuster” yammer is nonsense. The only reason a filibuster would be needed is if 41 GOP Senators voted for debate cloture on a nomination, which means Ted would have to be filibustering the GOP.

But it’s not going to come to that because there’s no reason for the nomination to even come out of the Judicial Committee, AND McConnell said he would a nomination to the floor for a vote anyway.

It is the organization that is evil, not necessarily the people. But what sort of person can assist in the killing of hundreds and thousands of children be unaffected by their deeds.

You need to remember that we are not allowed to look at all the statements Trump made in the last 50 years which all reveal his liberal stance on about everything. We are supposed to blindly believe his current speeches only.

Eric and Don Trump Jr are avid hunters. It is a loony lie to claim that their father would turn back 180 degrees on his often-stated determination to preserve the Second Amendment.

“You said it was Cruz...is he that disparate now? “

Actually, i didn’t say Cruz said anything. I simply quoted Cruz’s statement quoted from the Washington Examiner article in the excerpt section of the post.

Check out the whole article.

But, yes, Cruz is that desperate. And he should be: if he loses by 20 points to Trump in S.C., is campaign is all but dead from a practical standpoint.

No wonder we can't complete the fundraisers on time.

Certainly that is not a new or recent phenomenon.

"I'd say we conservatives have finally lost everything."

Of course we have. And if you think putting a Cruz out there is going to change that I'd say you are nuts. Trump neutralizes the dems entire playbook, while addressing conservative issues that all agree on. Border/national security, immigration, gov waste, jobs. You want to have something left to build on? Get on board.

Cruz says Trump is not a strong enough conservative to use his political capital over a supreme court justice. That’s his analysis and I agree with it. There is nothing in Trump’s background that indicates he would fight for the type of justice to hold the line in the war for this country. If he becomes president, I sure hope I’m wrong.
