Yes, I assumed his heart stopped beating. The rest sounds a bit curious.

"It then took hours for authorities in remote West Texas to find a justice of the peace, officials said Sunday. When they did, she pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body and decided not to order an autopsy. A second justice of the peace, who was called but couldn't get to Scalia's body in time, said she would have ordered an autopsy."

Interesting. At least they did not proclaim there is no evidence of terrorist involvement instantly.

Rest in Peace, great man.

But seriously. He is so remote they can’t find any officials, and there is some law in TX that you don’t need to see the body to pronounce someone dead, and there will be no autopsy because clearly the man died of a heart attack (again, no investigation or autopsy, and no media report of any doctor on scene at all ever) in his sleep and clearly with only the hotel clerk in the room, there could never have been any foul play.

Hillary Clinton can aid and abet murderers, put top secret information out into the interwebs, and share everything she knows with a double duty Muslim brotherhood member, and still be a front running candidate for President.

Jeb Bush can run cocaine for his dad and enjoy a lot of it himself, and can also be a mainstream candidate for President.

Our President is not eligible to be President on paper, and his closest confidant is an Iranian spy.

But there is no way there could be foul play in the death of a Supreme Court Justice at a rural ranch with no officials doing any sort of an investigation.

That article is scary and deserves its own thread. It sounds like a perfect situation where natural causes or murder could have happened and no one will ever even look at the body medically. An outstanding conservative icon on the Supreme Court dies during a Senate adjournment surrounded by agents of the Obama Regime and no one will order an inquest and cause of death is pronounced based on a phone call with a Marshals Service representative. OTOH, he was seventy nine and overweight. Alex Jones, call your office.

This article claims Cinderella ordered an autopsy after pronouncing him dead early in the afternoon on Saturday.

That would be the world’s fastest autopsy.

I wonder if they looked for a small round dart-entry hole anywhere on his body.

That article contradicts what is in the article this thread is based upon. In this article Cinderella claims she DID order an autopsy. In the one you linked to, they said no autopsy was ordered because there “were no signs of foul play”. Are these people idiots, or what? An assassin is supposed to leave big signs that they were there?

An interesting bit from your linked article- the family did not request an autopsy either.

I don’t think anything was done to him, but I’d feel better if he had an autopsy. Just in case...

Have you been to Big Bend? Ft. Davis? Marfa?

i’ve been to Cibolo Creek many times. It’s in the middle of nowhere in one of the least populated areas of North America.

I’m surprised they could find a JP in 24 hours; it’s a part time gig and cover hundreds of square miles.

Scalia was a wonderful man. He was also 79 and big and fat and out of shape.

That’s how weak our country has become; we are dependent on the heart of a big fat old guy to survive as a nation.

It’s just insane we’ve let our country fall so far.
