That is the key. When 0' can replace Scalia, then the nomination should sail thru and be confirmed.
Hint: I mean an exact replacement, with the same name. Middle included.
I guess we’ve already run out of AMERICAN nominees.
Most of the Indians I know are notoriously liberal. Globalist, socialist types.
Is this guy a FISA judge?
“Judge Srinivasan’s appointment was confirmed by the Senate unanimously in 2013”
Thanks, GOP.
Did they think Scalia would LIVE FOREVER?!
TAKE NOTE:
Srinivasan is known for having represented former Enron executive Jeffrey Skilling in his appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court, Skilling v. United States (2010).
Srinivasan had run into some opposition from some Obama supporters because of Srinivasan’s work in the U.S. Solicitor General’s office during the Bush administration and because of union animosity to Srinivasan’s corporate clients in private practice.
RE: He was Mr. Obama’s principal deputy solicitor general, most notably working on the successful fight against the Defence of Marriage Act.
WE ARE SO SCREWED.
Disqualifies him immediately. The President swears to take care that the laws are faithfully executed, not "fight against" them in court.
Let the POS nominate away. The answer will be no, no, no.
No thanks. We'll pass.
What the hell? Can we, for Pete’s sake, put AMERICANS into these positions in the USA?
This is a slap in the face to Americans. Should never happen.
