Bush did not lie about WMD.

They were found.

Even the NYT admits this.

The Duelfer Report by the CIA disclosed the weapons and their locations long before Bush left office.

Only the Left maintains this view of the Iraq war.

Trump is showing who he really is— deeply Left.

He will make America great by making us a one party country governed by the Left.

That will not make us great.

The idea that invading Iraq was more of a cause to current difficulties than the deliberate withdrawal of forces is absurd.

Trump and his supporters appeal to a notion of unanimity created by the Left.

Bush lied. That popular view is false but Trump is delighted to rely upon it because it pulls in independents and conservative democrats.

I think nation building the most misguided effort, but I am glad we were there. Who the hell do Americans think we were fighting in Fallujah? We kept Al Queda too busy for 8 long years. It is well known now that Saddam coordinated the insurgence with Al Queda. And we know pretty likely that WMDs were transferred to Syria. The only place I do agree is those missing 28 pages. Bush sold us out by getting those Saudis on planes and Congress covered for the Saudis in the 911 report.

With a choice between a guy that voted for Corker and Trump, I’ll take Trump.

I don’t agree with some of his views on Iraq.

I hardly ever agree with any candidate in total.

There was one big thing I disagreed with Reagan on. Amnesty.

I could understand why he did it, but I knew it would be a problem.

My consolation was that he got tighter laws, and Bush et all took that away by not enforcing them.

Bush did not lie about WMD.

They were found.

The Duelfer Report by the CIA disclosed the weapons and their locations long before Bush left office.

According to the Duelfer report, basically nothing was found in the chemical or nuclear area. In the biological area no weapons were found but it was determined that Iraq may have tried to maintain the capability to get back into this after sanctions were lifted.

Thus the image presented to the public in the lead-up to the Iraq invasion was certainly a gross exaggeration.

Some "key findings" from the Duelfer Report:

Chemical:

"While a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions have been discovered, ISG judges that Iraq unilaterally destroyed its undeclared chemical weapons stockpile in 1991. There are no credible indications that Baghdad resumed production of chemical munitions thereafter, a policy ISG attributes to Baghdad's desire to see sanctions lifted, or rendered ineffectual, or its fear of force against it should WMD be discovered."

Nuclear:

"Iraq Survey Group (ISG) discovered further evidence of the maturity and significance of the pre-1991 Iraqi Nuclear Program but found that Iraq's ability to reconstitute a nuclear weapons program progressively decayed after that date."

"Saddam Husayn ended the nuclear program in 1991 following the Gulf war. ISG found no evidence to suggest concerted efforts to restart the program."

Biological:

"ISG judges that Iraq's actions between 1991 and 1996 demonstrate that the state intended to preserve its BW capability and return to a steady, methodical progress toward a mature BW program when and if the opportunity arose."

"In practical terms, with the destruction of the Al Hakam facility, Iraq abandoned its ambition to obtain advanced BW weapons quickly. ISG found no direct evidence that Iraq, after 1996, had plans for a new BW program or was conducting BW-specific work for military purposes."

"ISG judges that in 1991 and 1992, Iraq appears to have destroyed its undeclared stocks of BW weapons and probably destroyed remaining holdings of bulk BW agent. However ISG lacks evidence to document complete destruction. Iraq retained some BW-related seed stocks until their discovery after Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)."

"Dr. Rihab Rashid Taha Al 'Azzawi, head of the bacterial program claims she retained BW seed stocks until early 1992 when she destroyed them. ISG has not found a means of verifying this. Some seed stocks were retained by another Iraqi official until 2003 when they were recovered by ISG."

"In spite of exhaustive investigation, ISG found no evidence that Iraq possessed, or was developing BW agent production systems mounted on road vehicles or railway wagons."

There were also much later reports in the Times that ISIS had captured the WMDs that has been left in Iraq.

Doesn’t matter. People are tired of constantly dealing with the lost cause that is the middle east. Trump said we’ve been embroiled there for 15 years, spent a fortune, and tied it all to Jeb, who was forced to defend his brother.

Jeb is done.

“Bush did not lie about WMD.

They were found.”

Correct: http://www.foxnews.com/story/2006/06/22/report-hundreds-wmds-found-in-iraq.html

When Trump said there were no WMD’s found, he was either lying or showing his ignorance.
