And nothing was done for eight years. The pilots were already in school and final plans were made before Bush came in. WTF?
Trump said 9-11 happened on Bush’s watch. That is true. Could Bush have stopped it dunno but it did happen on his watch. Bush then went on to NOT get bin Laden when he could have, then went on an adventure in Iraq. Trump is right about all of that. Then Bush ended up calling Islam the religion of peace. BS. Bush had plenty of time to ‘unpack’. Bush had an inner ring of more than 1000 persons, many who were extremely familiar with the inner workings of all agencies of the federal government.

It didn’t take Bush long to give the orders to invade Afghanistan, did it?
Bush could have given orders to revoke all visas, all IDs of every person coming from or near a terrorist country and extend it to all persons with ties to terrorists. Bush could have done that Day 1 but he didn’t.
Bush played it politically correct. And 9-11 was the result.
Was it his fault? Of course not. But he was responsible just the same as a ship captain is responsible for a crew member ramming the ship. Bush had all the power to clamp down, but he didn’t want to make waves.
Trump is not politically correct and won’t give a damn at liberals gnashing their teeth when he rounds up hordes of people that are either illegal or pose a threat to the security of the US.
