Thank you, makes me sick to see the blame going out on FR, no one could foresee what Roberts would do. DT will be a disaster to America, how can he lead when he only has a limited vocabulary and most of that is filth. From the heart speaks the mouth and DT's heart speaks volumes of who he really is. All that glitters is not gold, just FOOLS GOLD.

I am beginning to think he is in this to win it and then deliberately lose it to Hellary.

Yes, but we will never know what it was. Such a shame, and shame on all other Freepers who want to hold someone else accountable.

I also was for Iraq war, wrongly assuming that would reduce terrorism. It was a huge blunder, and Trump gets the credit to realize the turmoil that would occur following toppling of dictator Saddam.

Yes, I too was naive, in believing Arabs were like us and would welcome Democracy. They are centuries away from being capable of supporting such a government, better to have a strongman to keep them in line.

George W. Bush took office in January 2001. But even before he officially became CNC, GWB would have received preparatory security briefings.

Certainly upon taking office, He would have been immediately briefed on the full national security situation - including all the lintel on Osama bin Laden (OBL) - the same lintel President Bill Clinton had, but failed to act on.

Keep in mind too that the ongoing history clearly demonstrated that the U.S. was on the receiving end of a continuously escalating campaign of asymmetrical warfare, planned and conducted by OBL and his Al Qaeda terrorist organization: the 1993 bombing of the WTC, the 1998 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi Kenya and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and the June 2001 attack on the USS Cole.

Recall that the Clinton Administration balked on terminating OBL, when the opportunity was presented by the Afghanistan opposition forces (anti-Taliban).

All this history and intelligence was available to President GWB; yet he either ignored it, or else decided OBL was not worth pursing - IOW, GWB did not consider OBL a credible threat to the United States.

Particularly, since his father was, at one time, head of the CIA, President GWB should have had a greater appreciation for national security issues. For whatever reasons, he did not adequately utilize the resources at his disposal, nor act timely upon the intelligence reports to which he received on a daily basis.

So, yes, it is justifiable to assign some portion of the responsibility to President GWB in failing to prevent the attacks of September 11, 2001. Just as much as it is valid to assign responsibility to WJC.

DO not worry. If stalwart politicians such as Christie, Cruz, Bush, Rubio, Kasich, etc. can not beat Trump, Hellary is no shape to beat Trump. Heck Hellary is having a hard time beating a 74 year old avowed socialist!

As we all were, coming out of the Clinton years GW looked great and we all supported him, and I did and still do respect their morality. GW faced the greatest disaster in our history with 9/11, he handled that with dignity, bravery and did the best he could with what information he was given on the terrorists. No one knew exactly who, what or how come.

Hindsight is a fickle thing, much we know now. but to blame Bush for 9/11 is just horrible.

May as well go back and blame Roosevelt for Pearl Harbor, BILL CLINTON could have taken out Bin Laden, but DIDN'T, so he is to blame for 9/11 and all the other bombings here and around the world.......Still BUSHES fault though, gheeze what idiots.

I guess we look at things differently.

Trump has the proven recipe for success. I love working for bosses who delegate. Bosses who micromanage are a nightmare, a real morale-buster...at least that has been my experience.

This is the top job. One human being isn’t going to be the best expert in every area. I think it is a testament to his LACK of ego that he realizes this, and seeks wisdom and knowledge from the best talent in every area for which he is responsible.

I have always thought that going into Iraq was a genius strategy. It formed an artificial front so we could fight terrorism away from our shores. The biggest problem came by assuming that a people with no history and respect for self government would be able to pull that part off. We should have fought more aggressively and stopped being hamstrung by collateral damage. Sometimes, change can only occur when you can start with a clean slate.

And people wonder why conservatives do not trust this arrogant clown??

Paul Ryan photo: Paul Ryan paul-ryan-bio-011.jpg

Have you forgotten about last December and how all those so called conservatives in congress voted to support Planned Parenthood?

Trust has gone out the door and it wasn't because of Trump.

Yep... I will NEVER vote for Donald Trump. He is WAY WAY WAY left of me... and I don't vote for liberals.

No matter if you vote for a republican or democrat you have voted for liberals.

Trump in my opinion has flunked every debate but I doubt my opinion matters much nor does the opinion of most freepers because we are not common voters, we support way to may losers.

I am now a single issue voter, immigration, and Trump is more likely than any other candidate to stem the illegal invasion.

Vote Trump!
