Thank you for this information.
Originally, my gut reaction toward him was strongly negative, with lots of red alarms going off. My husband disagreed and thought Cruz was a good man. But soon we both learned just how sleazy he really is. We both are amazed at how he is able to deceive so many seemingly bright and sincere people; but that’s what polished politicians do. Duh! : )
Obama was GW Bush’s gift to America that keeps on giving. If he had governed like a conservative instead of a big government liberal, and had selected a man that could have replaced him, instead of an old man with a bad heart, there would be no Obama to destroy this country. Bush didn’t veto the first spending bill in eight years until the last two months of his presidency. And the little thing that Trump said about Bush not listening to the CIA about a threatened terrorist attacks on US soil is absolute fact.
Like Trump says, those people (media) are TOTALLY DISHONEST.
Only a trumpster 8th grader would say that someone who didnât vote actually 1/2 voted for someone. Idiots....
==
To be more exact, it looks something like this so you’ll understand.
100 voters./ 50 for the Rep./ 50 for the Dem./ 1 purist Rep. stays home. Hillary wins 50 to 49. That’s easier than 8th grade math. And those purist will be responsible.
I think 1) he talks the way people talk at home so that won't hurt him, and 2) voters are still so disgusted with Obama, the Democrats, and the treacherous Republicans, that they will still turn to Trump in the end.
He's been ahead for so long, unlike the last election where the lead kept changing every few weeks as the MSM manipulated the news coverage, that this time people are determined to take back control.

As voters we are responsible for who we vote “for”.....that means we support their positions on the issues that matter to us......to vote for someone who gives evidence they have not stood for those positions and in fact supported those who fight against these would be voting for someone who opposed those positions. I won’t do that again. McCain was enough for me and then some.
I don’t want to get into a theological discussion here, but how did Jesus react to David sending Uriah into the forefront of the battle?
As I said before, don’t be too quick to assume you know the mind of the Lord, and I won’t.
I am good with Cruz on SCOTUS.
So why did Cruz take Rubio's bait, as if he is fluent in Spanish? Which is it? Cruz sure convinced me tonight he can speak Spanish. But of course, I am not a Spanish speaker... Cruz's whole speech pattern changed when he began uttering what sounded like Spanish to me.
Well, chew on this;
Negative ads work...he's a constant negative ad.
That’s sad to hear, if not unexpected. Politics brings out the bear in all of us, but I’ve never seen such bloodletting between FRiends as this time around. I really hope that when the dust has settled, we can not only unify behind our candidate, but that the bile and anger that’s been spilled here at FR does not leave lasting anger and hard feelings between each other.
That’s politics. Show me a politician who takes the high road, and I’ll show you a politician who never won an election.
Yes!
Years ago, when I was less knowledgeable about politics, I voted for that left-wing weasel, Bush, twice, because Rush said Bush was a conservative like Reagan, and I believed Rush.
Now, when Rush calls Cruz the only true conservative choice, I know better. Rush is exactly how another Freeper recently described him: He’s the “conservative” wing of the GOP elite.
The same number of People believe that there were no WMD'S believe that Obama was Born in Hawaii. In other words, most people don't believe that Iraq had any “new” WMD’s, only the leftover Gas he used against Iran and his own People years before the second Gulf War.
Bush Advisor Condoleza Rice eluded to Iraq having Nuclear Devices. She didn't say it outright, but any discussion you have with people that were against the Iraq War bring it up saying Bush lied about Saddam having Nuclear Weapons. Don't even get me started on the Colin Powell U.N. presentation. It became a festering Dog and Pony Show when all those supposed Weapons never showed up.. Nobody knows or cares that Iraq was in violation of 17 U.N. Resolutions or that they delayed and lied about complying. Most People think that the War was just because of the WMD's, which it wasn't. The point is, all that matters is what the Public thought, not what the Bush Administration thought. They never sold the War to the Public enough to overcome the rabid voices railing against it. Nobody ever mentions that then Senator Hillary Clinton Voted to Invade Iraq on two separate occasions. Their excuse is that Bush lied to her, because she is the smartest Woman in the World you know. In that case, Trump has it over Hillary because he never supported the Iraq War in the first place and he has stated his reasoning. We here can jump up and down saying there were WMD's, but most of the Voting Public thinks it's a bunch of bull, like it or not. Does anyone here remember the embarrassing Video that the Bush White House showed at the White House Correspondents Dinner? In the Video, Bush's Chief of Staff is looking under the White House Furniture for Iraq's WMD's? I certainly do, and it was a stupid tone deaf attempt at humor while we had Soldiers dying over there. Whether you like or hate Trump, he is the only one saying that we shouldn't have gone in, but since we did we should have finished the Job instead of just pulling out. That isn't a Code Pink argument as many here are trying to pin on Trump. Then again, there is more hateful BS between the two factions than I can ever recall seeing here. I will Vote for the eventual Republican Nominee whoever it may be against the DemoncRat Nominee. No doubt in my mind. For all those that disagree, you can join the FR Club that wouldn't Vote for the Republican Nominee in 2008 or even worse, 2012 because he didn't have a Pure Conservative Pedigree. Well, here we are today. Obama, you know the guy that was the same as Romney or even better, will have a shot of replacing Justice Scalia, throwing the SCOTUS to the Liberal Hyenas. I predicted as much back in 2012 and Posted numerous times that no matter how much Romney was disliked as the Republican Nominee in the General Election, we had better get him in or lose the SCOTUS. Viola, the day has arrived and the Gutless Cowards in the Senate will fold like a cheap suit when Obama puts forth his next Communist Judge. We would have had a chance with Romney, but now we have no chance and will end up having a Court that regards the Constitution as anything but a hindrance to Progressive Policies. Everyone here can continue to beat the crap out of each other over their choice of Nominee and it will change nothing. I wonder how a President Clinton or Sanders will do in Office with a Supreme Court that will rubber stamp anything they do? Yeah, Romney would have been so much worse that Obama. Sorry for the rant. Reading the pathetic Debate Thread got me going. We had better pull it together and get behind the eventual Nominee or you can kiss your Country goodbye for good. Your Children and Grandchildren will pay the price, not you or I. We have the gift of remembering what was, they won't have that same opportunity. Carry on...
I doubt very much, if Trump gets the primary, that I will vote for him in the general.....he’s still carrying the democratic/liberal water....even tonight he made that clear.
This man has been well known to move on after he gets his wins....and after he’s made all kinds of promises to get what he wants....We need a President “present” in the Whitehouse.....Trumps already said he’d be handing things over to “smart people” which he has done in his business......no thanks.....I want my President engaged with running this country, not handing it over to oligarchs in his circle of “friends”.
I formatted the Post, don’t know why it bunched back up, my apologies.
