I’m a former Marine mom and we lose so many active military to suicide that any form of it is a trigger for me. Very upsetting. There are other ways to argue a point in defense or offense.
Rubio always has the same dramatic rise at the end of his response. He wears poorly.

Rubio sounded like a talking points caffeinated (or something else) nervous kid. He looks like he’s at a high school debate trying to talk as fast as possible to score points.
I see. So people who rightly state Bush isn’t responsible for 9-11 are somehow not right in the head, as opposed to just not being 911 Truthers. Love what happened to this site. There was a time a candidate who just praised Planned Parenthood would be forbidden from being supported here. Now liberals are embraced as candidates and conservatives are trashed.
Don’t worry. The way it’s going one side or the other will end up getting purged and it won’t be as nasty (or interesting).
Trump has lasted a decade as an a-lister on tv and decades more being around tv. People are not yet sick of his face. A good sign.
IN all my years of elections, I have never seen such a horrible nasty despicable rude vicious candidate as DT. I would vote for any of the others on that stage before I would EVER waste my vote on DT. Looks like DT may BULLY himself into the WH, but not with my help.

I don’t know about you but I came away from this debate feeling doomed for our future. Trump and eventually Cruz will be marginalized and one of the three stooges will be offered up to Shrillary for a November beatdown. Going into this year I felt good and feeling we had a chance to change things in November. Now I’m pessimistic as hell because I know the fix is in by the GOPe.
Yeah, so? Cruz and probably the vast majority of people on Free Republic! Yes, Roberts has been a big disappointment and in many ways, a disaster. It’s not the first time that someone thought to be conservative turned out to be not that conservative, at all. But, it’s a flat out lie to make out like everyone knew Roberts would be bad. I’m disappointed, but I trusted what I was reading at the time that he would be a good justice. Yes, there were other names being bandied about at the time that sounded good, as well. But, most conservatives believed Roberts’ confirmation was a win.
We need to reevaluate what is just cause to go to war, with the bar raised substantially the more distant the cause is from direct U.S. interests (and not contrived interests).
