Ted Cruz, vying for the Republican presidential nomination, will now only appear at one service Sunday at Community Bible Church in Port Royal.
The U.S. Senator from Texas will preach at 11 a.m. after having been scheduled to talk at two services. His topics will include his testimony and the relevance of the Bible in government, according to a church Facebook post Wednesday.
The service will be streamed on the church website.
Cruzâs appearance comes ahead of South Carolinaâs Republican primary on Feb. 20. The Democratic primary will be Feb. 27.

Perhps he could cut the preaching so he could appeal to the general electorate.
Or, nmaybe not. Up to him, I guess.
In other news, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree:
“Dominion theology is predicated upon three basic beliefs: 1) Satan usurped man’s dominion over the earth through the temptation of Adam and Eve; 2) The Church is God’s instrument to take dominion back from Satan; 3) Jesus cannot or will not return until the Church has taken dominion by gaining control of the earth’s governmental and social institutions.”
Take a look at this video. Introduction of Rafael Cruz at about 1:02. Rafael Cruz clearly states that he has “shared the message of Dominion” around the world. At 1:34 he talks about God giving you material blessings so that you have the power to establish God’s Kingdom on Earth. This it the Prosperity Gospel on steroids. Rafael Cruz explains it all, very convincingly, so that, if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived.

Barforama!
Cruz appears to be courageous enough to have ONE Service at Community Bible Church.
Oh goodness. This is sick. He screwed up when he chose his career. Obviously he should have become a pastor. He’s a natural at it. He is a horrible Senator and even worse Presidential Candidate.
Is he an ordained minister? If not, why is he preaching from the pulpit of a church? Yes, he missed his true calling - televangelist. (send him money and he will pray for you),.
I assume Obama’s IRS folks will kill that congregation’s tax exempt status by noon.
He is the most nasty person I have ever witnessed running for President. He is a disgrace. I can’t believe there are 10 people on Free Republic who support this idiot. Sad.
/He is a horrible Senator/
Senator Cruz has kept every promise made to the Citizens
of Texas.
Since Ted Cruz was elected we have seen a move to the RIGHT
in Texas Politics.
You and your nasty candidate will be even more surprised when he gets no votes from conservatives who know he is not a conservative. He will lose, just as McCain and Romney did.
McCain and Romney were debate wimps, and did not inspire.
Don’t think this will be a Donald problem.
What a dimwit you are. He received more evangelical votes they your fake Christian big time. You need to not only wake up but grow up. You are embarrassing yourself.
“Is he an ordained minister? If not, why is he preaching from the pulpit of a church?”
Because in many evangelical churches, such as most Baptist churches and apparently this church, lay people are allowed to preach from time to time. For example, in the Baptist church I attend, we have several men who are not ordained but have preached sermons. I have even done it a few times, and I’m nowhere close to being ordained. This is definitely nothing unusual.
What has he sponsored a bill that is law or stopped?
Keep him in Texas where he belongs.
He would probably be a great mayor or governor of Texas. He just isn’t great as a Senator or for God help us President. Luckily God is in charge.
Trump beat Cruz among conservative and evangelical voters in New Hampshire. The polls indicate he'll be doing it again in South Carolina.
Keep him in Texas where he belongs.
*************
Maybe he could head up Trump’s wall building.....
