I didn’t realize this was this was the Justice Scalia condolence thread.
I thought this was the Donald J. Trump canned response post.
DJT’s response is very canned. In many ways that is to be expected as he is not of the political class and would not have the insights of Justice Scalia’s rulings, reasoning’s, or briefs.
That being the likely case, the canned response is to be expected. Sadly, very sadly, there are many FReepers here who hold a deep regard for Justice Scalia and his conservative and reasoned briefs for the court.
DJT’s response seems light in the shoes and very canned, lacking the understanding or gravity of the loss to the court.
Pompous and bombastic of you. Any condolence from Trump would have criticized by you. Many of us here are deeply hurt by this loss and your nastiness is like joking at a funeral. Let people express grief as they will
