He continually praises Justice Thomas. I’ve heard him three times extolling Justice Thomas in interviews. The last time was on Hannity. He mentioned Scalia too last time.

Trump is an astute schmoozer. It costs him nothing to praise Thomas, and it might gain him support. He did the same thing with the "birther" movement, and it didn't hurt him in the slightest. As a matter of fact, I have long thought that Trump's support of we "birthers" was an early indication he was going to try to run for President.

I am glad that Trump praises Thomas, but I don't regard this as a solid foundation on which to judge his future supreme court and federal court nominees.
My fear is that he will nominate liberals and moderates. That's the sort of people he's lived among all his life.
