Enough braying
This is not meant to be a food fight so if you want to start one please go to the other 100 threads that is in full battle mode.
Lol.
“Trump is able to articulate basic conservative ideas...”
Stopped reading right there. A basic conservative idea is to speak truth.
I always enjoy your braying.
OUTSTANDING! Thanks, bray.
Who is Don Galt?
Let's put it more simply: you have Stalina running against Trotsky. If this were any other country, Trotsky would already have been forced to flee, Stalina would already be in power, and there would be no other "party" opposing her.
But there will be no road back to America when he is finished, just as there was no road back to the Roman Republic when Julius Caesar was finished. Trump will make America great again, but he will never make it America again, meaning the America our Founders fought Britain for.
The only man who has a chance of making America America again is Cruz, and it may even be too late for him: if Brutus had taken over instead of Julius, Rome would have gone Imperial in another generation at best.
Excellent job. Good morning.
It’s a good thing you listed the entire post because your link leads to a different post: What if Lenin is wrong?
Will he be able to resist the gravitational waves when power and corruption collide?
Trump has the makings of a Tyrant. Here’s why:
1. His appeal is all about the cult of personality. Many of his supporters (I’m not directing this at you) on Brietbart’s comments section, blindly follow him and spout the same shallow mantras without any details.
2. He seems to be all over the map when it comes to positions. In one of the first debates, he praised socialized medicine in Canada and Scotland. He also has decades of donating money to democrats and RINOs. He’s been super rich for a long time, so the “pay to play” argument does not work. If he had conservative principles, he could have funded conservative causes and candidates. Instead, he funded Mitch McConnell’s campaign against Tea Party candidate Matt Bevin.
3. He offers a lot of bluster but few details. “Make America Great” and “Build the Wall” are great lines but they have no depth.
Excellent braying.
It seems that every individual has their own definition of “conservative”. To one, it’s religion, to another, it’s disagreeing with democrats, and everything in between.
If you’re car is in a ditch, you call a wrecker service. You’re not concerned if the car has a crucifix hanging from the rear view mirror, you just want the car out of the ditch.
If you’re dying with cancer and the guy with the cure is not an avid church goer, you go for the cure first, and try to convert him later. Then you go to church to thank God for sending you this wonderful physician.
We have a gigantic job to do - rescue America from the giant Obama abyss. If you are devoutly religious, you already have a leader to show you to the promised land, his name is Jesus.
Meanwhile, we have to live, and survive in the materialistic world where evil has acquired a foothold. A lot of dirty tricks have been pulled on us and we need a strong hand to return us to the freedom to worship as we please, and keep our family and fortune safe.
Trump is no saint, but he’s not a Muslim either. He’s the strong hand we need to give government back to the people. He stands strong for America. He’s rich beyond conception for most of us, so he would be taking a huge pay cut being president. Why else would a man want to leave his palatial home for the White House, and give up his plane for the likes of Air Force One?
God is not doing Donald Trump a favor by making him president, God is doing us a favor by sending us the leader we need to overcome tyranny, and to make possible the return to one natio, under God.
The bash trump posts will continue, ad nauseaum, but only by those who have their own horse in the race. I, for one, want the corruption, graft, and tyranny to end. I’d like to be able to take an evening stroll without being mugged, or killed.
Trump has become of note due to his role as lie-puncturer.
Trump has no patience for the idea that we can’t protect America, that we have to have a ghastly inefficient healthcare system, that we have to keep embracing a plethora of negatives that we have been embracing.
Cruz is the more traditional “Christian values” fellow. However sometimes he gets a bit shallow about it. He’d rather look good than do good, sometimes (and doing good, as Jesus displayed, can sometimes make you look pretty bad).
Neither of these people are perfect. However if one had to measure each candidate against the resources that God has given him, totally IMHO it would look like Trump is being more effective.
Smaller government, pure capitalism. Can anyone tell me if DT is given one of the most powerful positions on earth that he will NOT want to control more? Everything he does manipulates the media, manipulates politicians, manipulates the public. Anyone who rejects him (or who he thinks is distasteful) is rebuked and disdained. Submission is everything.
Has he ever motivated anyone to become greater than himself?
Pray Trump supporters wake up. One cannot win a two-candidate election when 60% of voters view you unfavorably.
Donnie John 2016.
This is a beautiful summation of what Trump is doing.
