The employees that worked there that voted for Obama should give their, “Thanks to Obama.” It is because of the likes of Obama that their jobs are gone.

Rush saw this whirlwind coming and tried to avoid it, but now he is getting sucked up into it like his buddies Beck and Levin

Nope, this one really is Bush's fault. Bush 41 that is.

Rush is not a nationalist or a populist. Apparently those two virtues can never be included in the pantheon of Conservative values as peddled by Limbaugh et al.

How much cocaine will be hidden in new Ford trucks, like drive shafts?

Ford ran an engine foundry in Mexico for decades. If the cartels are looking to exploit the new manufacturing, I suspect the "pipeline" is already in place.

Rush counts his money and spends his off hours playing golf with tech executives that complain about a "shortage" of STEM workers and want more H-1B's. Those same executives entertain congressmen on the fantails of the 300 foot long yachts.

Every time the big man gets married he strays off the ranch..

Actually both.

Bush 41 because he was a free traitor.

Obama because liberals have made it almost impossible to manufacture anything in the USA.

Carrier should immediately be billed back for the $5.1 millon dollars in stimulus funds they received.

I don’t believe the blue collar vote will be excited this election cycle. The unions have replaced blue collar employees with more SEIU type employees. SEIU is mostly unskilled workers like janitors, etc.

I don’t believe blue collar unions will be very motivated to vote for Hillary or Bernie. I believe Trump is one of the few that would appeal to them.

However nutty Perot was, he totally called it on NAFTA.

Watching that clip, he was nutty like he was the only sane man in the world. I guess that's the way it works.

Has Carrier denied it?

Don’t know and don’t blame them for leaving.
Apparently Mexico has offered them a nice incentive to go there and they’re willing to risk the drug cartels and the water to be there

[ 1-Decriminalize drugs, let them be bought at liquor stores or state run drug stores and use the money saved by ending the drug war to treat those who’s lives are upended by addiction.

That solves the drug importation problem from Mexico.

2-End the welfare state! Anyone requiring assistance must be disabled or must be forced to work for their keep. NO welfare monies to illegals! NO welfare to anchor-babies! End the stupid practice of granting citizenship to babies born in the US to illegal aliens!

This solves the illegal immigration problem and you don’t even need a wall. ]

Agreed!

Didn;t someone once say you can either have a welfare state of open borders, but never BOTH

His whole speech can be summed up as "Nothing personal but you're screwed". Pretty disgusting.

Of all the places in Mexico, Monterrey is one of the last I would choose to move a manufacturing op. to. It's one of the left's strongholds and if you ever go there around election time you'll see the streets festooned with "PT" flags of the Partido del Trabajo - the mexican commies.

It's also the territory of Las Zetas, who have been known to kidnap the occasional business executive. I wonder if the gentleman speaking in the video is planning to relocate?

I can't help but wonder if they took into account the "unofficial" logistical expenses. Things have been known to fall off the train between Monterrey and Eagle Pass.

Too bad, Carrier made quality products. Wonder how they will turn out.

The company, same industry, by brother in-law works for went down this path. The quality went to hell and the amount of rework; coming back to the US plant, is remarkable. The last I talked to him the company is in the process of reconsidering this business model.

The paid hack keeps telling everyone to be quiet because he has “information to share” - which is just more bad news telling everyone how much Carrier is screwing them all. Then he goes off about quality of products, customer service, and other garbage.

No riots? No burning of cars? No breaking store windows? No looting? No police involved? These folks really kept their tempers n the face of terrible news. Times are tough and getting tougher...

NAFTA was a bad deal. What was wrong with our trade between these countries before NAFTA? Nothing.....

And I'm livid that meats no longer have to put country of origin on their packages. I do NOT want to buy any meat from Mexico. (or anything else for that matter)

I have no problem with Canadian goods.
