Well, he should deal with this. A lot of folks think a natural born citizen (NBC) must be born on U.S. soil, but as early as three years after the constitution was ratified, the 1790 Naturalization Act said the an NBC may be born outside of the U.S., but the details of Cruz’s parenting hasn’t been decided. So there is a genuine dispute of a material issue regarding the specific details of Cruz’s status and Cruz should pursue it so our, his time, everybody’s time ISN’T wasted.
