Candice Bergen actually taught me a great life lesson.
I was standing in a checkout line and noticed her on the cover of Good Housekeeping or some other magazine. She was well past her prime at that point, but it was a nice picture. Her hair and makeup were very nicely done. She was wearing a very attractive floral patterned blouse, and she had a lovely smile on her face.
It was then that one of life’s enduring great truths dawned on me.
Some women only become unattractive when they open their mouths.
And interestingly, Bergen acknowledged that years afterward.
I’m surprised they aren’t bringing up when he was 2 and told his parents no. It would be reported as, “Do you want someone as rebellious as this, leading the country?”.
