I believe in a free market. They should be able to build their air conditioners where ever they want. It’s a business decision.

Just slap a 100% tariff on air conditioning equipment brought in from Mexico.

A better solution would be to eliminate the crushing regulations and fees and taxes that make it unprofitable to do business in the US.

The tariff can be justified by pollution and labor wage discrepancies. I’m just a small town pizza lawyer but free trade should be between level economies with similar environmental rules or not at all.
