Considering so many people find Cruz slimy and off-putting that he can’t even unite Evangelical voters, I’m highly suspicious of these claims that he’s some kind of coalition builder.

“Being a uniter” ranks pretty low on my list of political platitudes that I kind of even care about anyway, but it seems kind of silly to take a guy like Cruz, who wears the fact that everyone in his “Washington Cartel” hates his guts as a badge of honor, and claim that magically by the sheer force of an editorial column, he’s some kind of well-loved peacemaker.

The slimy off-putting thing is a meme that Trump, the establishment, and the MSM are putting out there because they are all terrified of Ted Cruz.

But if you want to talk about raw numbers, Donald Trump has the highest negatives of any presidential candidate in the history of polling for negatives (60%!).

And the RCP average has Trump losing to both Hitlery and Sanders right out of the box!
