Yes, it was officially the FR Inaugural Ball, but it had a nickname with something about Hillary stealing the White House silverware when she and Bill left. It was also called the Silver Ball by some.

Who remembers the name? Was it the "Save the Silverware Ball"?

I wore a glittering silver pantsuit with silver heels and jewelry. I danced to the music of a very rotund guitarist, Mike Huckabee and his swingin' "Capitol Offense Band". I met many, many well-known freepers, many of whom still post as venerated old-timers.

Does anyone here remember the animation of Hillary leaving the White House and pulling the left side of her coat open to reveal rows of silverware sewed into the lining? What a hoot!
