I grew up on a farm, at age 16 I worked for a farmer custom combining in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, SD and ND, laid rails between a coal mine and power plant, worked in a pool hall, worked in construction of grain elevators and finally a 30+ yr. career at UPS. I’ve LIVED around salty language! lol

I do a pretty good job controlling my language but it can come out when I get angry. I have a hard time posting on threads about politics.:)

Trump said during an interview at the ‘88 GOP convention that he relates best with the cab drivers and blue collar workers. I believe him. He’s a “blue-collar kind of guy”.

I am soon to retire from my 40+ year professional career w/ big (yuge) companies.
I never aspired to climb the corporate ladder.
I always felt more comfortable with the guys on the loading dock
than I did with the guys in the corporate office.

Yep, he comes across as a regular schmo who happens to be a great businessman.

Republicans only have two choices, they can win ugly or lose graciously. They would all rather be gracious than ugly.

Last year, Indian owned Silicon Valley company decided to hold my consulting payment, reason they told me as security so that I could not quit in between job. I went to CEO office and gave him verbal hell. They gave me check within 2 min and later I complained about them to Immigration, City Hall, Labor Dept. etc.

You sound like a REAL person, like MOST of us! You’re right, so does Trump!

IN my life, the people who had the biggest hearts and sweatiest brows used the saltiest language.

It doesn’t push me away.
