Indeed, their clear signal is so focused they don’t care what Trump’s past is, who and what he’s historically supported and given money to, who he schmoozes with and how much corruption he’s spread himself. He’s NOT an outsider, but now he’s a politician with a schtick - he found something he can win on (he’s been wanting to win POTUS for 25 years). I’m disappointed he’s gotten this far, but it is what it is. I’ll vote Cruz in the primary, and for whoever gets the nom.

The “clear signal” is that everything will be done to destroy Trump rather than protect American borders. Cruz is getting a pass on some of his H1B, some of his birthright citizenship comments, all of which make him shaky.

I keep asking the question: in poll after poll, voters who say they are “conservative” and even “very conservative” either put Trump ahead or in a tie with Cruz. Why? Until Cruzers are willing to confront this, they will not understand Trump.
