Profound sounding but wrong.
Conservatism is a worldview that is founded on this concession: "man is depraved."
Nationalism is a worldview that is founded on this assertion: "virtue is collective."
Matthew 3:9

No sir, it is not.
Is there some sort of conservative "bible" that says it is?
Because, when there is some reasonable question as to a proper course for man as he organizes himself on earth...I tend to lean toward the Founders.
And it appears their alignment with modern Conservative Orthodoxy is tenuous, at best.
Because, ultimately, they were Nationalists first.
