"Profound sounding but wrong."

No sir, it is not.

Is there some sort of conservative "bible" that says it is?

Because, when there is some reasonable question as to a proper course for man as he organizes himself on earth...I tend to lean toward the Founders.

And it appears their alignment with modern Conservative Orthodoxy is tenuous, at best.

Because, ultimately, they were Nationalists first.

  1. The Holy Bible is the "Conservative bible"
  2. The Holy Bible instructs us unequivocally about government.
  3. The various founders variously aligned themselves with conservatism in direct proportion to their alignments with Scripture. We should not refer to them as a unified entity they were as fractious as we are.
  4. Insofar as any founders put nationalism above principles they undermined the legacy of our Republic. The USA is a means not the end. No wonder we face collapse.
