Ideology is just a bunch of words, why not look at actual deeds? Trump has named the enemy and has identified the issues that are most important to Americans and our nations future. But more importantly to me is that he is a businessman, a builder, a “doer”. Not someone who has spent his career making speeches about how things should be done or conspiring with others about how to spend OUR money. Trump has spent his life actually DOING things. Big things, risking big money, where there is accountability for results and where there is a real easy way of keeping score ($) to tell winners from losers. For once, we have a chance to elect a man who knows what it’s like to meet a payroll, negotiate a deal, who knows what it’s like to stand back and say “I did build this!”.

We are fed up with lawyers, MBAs, Harvard, theoretical crap, political correctness, all the stupid nonsense about gender, gays and LGBT-whatvers, Ivy League elites that think they are smarter than the rest of us, and anyone who thought it was a good idea for the federal goverment to nationalize 1/6 of the US economy. We need a businessman in the White House at this point in history who will see things as they really are, speak the truth, and make big changes to put the nation back on course. Trump IS the American Dream. He can win and he can make American great again.

Actually, I see it as the death of conservatism.

Trump will dump conservatives whenever public pressure and the media make it in his interest to do so.

Why anyone would vote for someone who in his heart is a NY leftist over a solid, but not perfect conservative like Cruz is beyond me.

The GOPe is watching, the only rebellion they fear is Cruz.

Trump? Well, as Jimmy Carter says, doesn’t really believe anything and is rather malleable!

A Trump- Cruz ticket would be unstoppable. Although I’d love to see Trump appoint Ted to SCOTUS.

I’m not worried about a movie..they’re just preaching to their liberal choir.

Independents, and overall voters, at least in NH, turned out for Republicans more than Democrats. I find that mighty refreshing.

I agree wholeheartedly! Trump is the one who is doing the leading in this rebellion. We’ll know soon enough after his election by the team he puts together whether we were right about Trump. With people like Sarah Palin and Phyllis Schlafly advising him, it could be spectacular.

As for Cruz, he should remain in the Senate and prove his mettle there. He’s needed there.

I think the wall is the simplest of matters

Ask yourself ... if you needed a labor force of healthy men ... where would you go ?

The money has been allocated for 15 years ... whether there or not ... it will be there when needed

And waddaya' need?

very low tech machinery, cement, rebar, block and a ton o'guys that want to earn a little money

I think Trump will bid the job out and many men will go to work for enough time for them to establish a nest egg.

CEMENT

CEMENT IN THE USA

The art of leadership is to inspire and to be able to advance an agenda even when you need to do it with people who don’t necessarily like you or agree with you. Trump has a demonstrated track record of doing just that, which is why this is his race to lose at this point.

Agree. I think Cruz actually is making a strategic error by trying to win the nomination. Since the establishment is so entrenched and he’s so young, the long game would be better for him. He’s got lots of time.

Think of a football analogy. Let Trump be the bruising fullback that will pound away, wear down and weaken the other team. Then when they are softened up, then the quick halfback can come in and gouge the defense for big yards.

Cruz would be better served by staying positive, even if it means he comes in a distant second to Trump. He could shoot for VP, get more seasoned for 4 or 8 years, assist Trump in pounding the DC Uniparty, then he takes the lead and can take the next steps in finishing the job of restoration.

If Cruz gets the nomination now, I can easily see the Uniparty either going with the Democrat, or even if Cruz wins, ensure that he’s a one-termer and not effective. Let Trump do the first efforts, the dirtiest work, setting the stage for Cruz in 4 or 8 years.

In the Trump interviews on healthcare he refers to there being something also there so people don’t die in the street. That is the potential government connected insurance he spoke of which has kind of always been there.
The rest seems to be cross border market competition.
If the winner reads these, we need lawsuit reform so doctors don’t need to pay $200,000.00 a year for liability insurance before they make a nickel.
