Cruz: New Hampshire, Iowa Show Only I Can Beat Trump
The Texas Tribune ^ | Feb. 10, 2016 | Patrick Svitek

Posted on 02/10/2016 10:42:37 AM PST by justlittleoleme

"You cannot beat Donald Trump coming from the left," Cruz told reporters here before a rally. "You see more moderate candidates standing on the debate stage and saying, 'Gosh, Donald, we need more amnesty. Gosh, Donald, don't be so tough on radical Islamic terrorism.' That's not going to work."

"The only way to beat Donald Trump is to highlight the simple truth of his record," Cruz added. "It is not conservative."

-snip-

After coming in first in the Iowa caucuses, Cruz finished a distant third behind Trump on Tuesday night in New Hampshire, though he joked he deserves the same credit Marco Rubio got a week earlier for beating expectations in Iowa.

"I am looking forward to a week of wall-to-wall coverage on Fox News of the impressive third-place finish," Cruz said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

When Trump first filed his financials after declaring his intent to run, he had about $220,000,000.00 in his personal bank account. He doesn’t declare that as money on hand every quarter because he hasn’t committed all of it to his campaign. You know he has other expenses outside of this campaign. He just loans his campaign money as he needs it per the FEC requirements.

Trump is so many levels above what we are used to many people have no idea what he’s talking about. Those reporters are in shock. They don’t get it. And, sad to say, many here on FR don’t get it either

now that my friends is a true cult member in good standing

Trump may or may not win TX, but he will do well enough i think to keep ted from topping 50%. Same with OH.

Trump is on pace to win FL, MI, and NY. And probably NJ and PA. That is the path to Cleveland.

NH is a state chock full of liberals. Its little wonder that they would vote for the most liberal candidate in the race....by a wide margin!

I loved it that they initially complained about his not visiting them in person. As the interview progressed, you could see that he was connecting with them much better than he could over the phone. I would love to hear what they said after the cameras went off. ;-)

Your post is not clear. Was that a C&P of a CNN report?

If so, why is only Trump, out of Rubio, Bush, Cruz and Trump, the only one trailing Clinton and Sanders in the national polls?

“NH shows Cruz can beat Trump. Wow.”
_____________________

If I recall correctly, 65% of NH voters did not vote for Trump!

Only 35% in a Northeastern, highly liberal, highly secular state that allows Independents to crossover...

Let’s get real...this was a solid win for “The Joker” Phineas T.J. Trump, but hardly game over for Mr. Cruz, “The Pussy”!

Trump’s released taxes show yearly income of 400 million dollars.

And yet Cruz people here on the forum state Trump doesn’t have the 45 million he hasn’t had to spend thus far for lack of money.

What planet are you living on?

But his coalition is much broader then that. That's why he's difficult to pigeonhole which was probably his strategy all along.

Trump's got a pigeonhole alright - Northeast big government crony capitalist, somewhere to the left of Mitt Romney. Ann Coulter loves Romney and Trump, wonder why?

Building a "broad coalition" out of the mushy middle didn't work for McCain or Romney, and it won't work for Trump.

It was a big mistake for conservatives to throw their lot in with the GOPe.
Now conservatives will be saddled with the image of being just another part of the good ‘ole boy, country club, wall street/k street, sell out your country for a quick buck, NWO, open border crowd.

The only difference between the GOP/DNC is who gets to crack the whip on the serfs, and ride in the limousines.

That is my candidate

Senator Ted Cruz is the real deal. The one that will shake up the establishment in DC

He is not going there to bend over and play kissy kissy squeezy squeezy with the establishment the way The Mouth says he will do to make "the deal"

Get 'em Senator and another $100 is on the way for the finish in NH.

“Cruz is without a doubt the #1 loser.”
_______________________________________

No, “The Joker”, Phineas T.J. Trump was the #1 LOSER in Iowa...

“The Pussy”, Mr. Cruz was the #2 loser in New Hampshire...

But, if we can’t agree about that then I think everyone agrees that “The Joker” is absolutely full of #2...

[Go rub yourself off to today’s episode of Trump’s stump speech.]

Is this type of talk an example of the “principles” that Cruzers like you boast about when you preach “principled conservatism”? Implying that someone should masturbate when they do not agree with you?

B/C if it is, maybe that’s why people like BigBob are getting turned off of that term.

I read somewhere that Trump is going to have to change course and accept big PAC money, because he simply doesn’t have the disposable income to self-finance the upcoming primaries, let alone the general campaign.

I know he doesn’t want to disappoint his supporters, but I’m positive they will understand and cheer his decision.

This is the battle; illogical morons with their lips permanently fastened to government tits outnumber those of us who are paying for it all. That is a fact. Trump represents the only hope for getting enough crossover and independent votes to overcome those tit sucking parasites. Cruz simply will not pull in enough votes to do it. Trump is the only chance we have.

I will vote for whoever is the republican nominee but none but Trump stand a chance at winning this fall. The popularity of Sanders, and by default socialism, coupled with the fact the number of parasites outnumber those who make up the host proves that beyond any doubt in my mind.
