“It never was banned, some world conference banned it somewhat but still allowed for its use for malaria prevention.”

I thought it had been banned everywhere and that it was no longer used in Africa for malaria prevention. Is it allowed everywhere?

It’s not allowed here and in other countries that signed off on banning it. I don’t know if they use it at all anymore in Africa but as far as I know it hasn’t been banned there, it wasn’t at the time that it was here.
