For the establishment wing of the Republican Party, the picture just keeps getting bleaker. Far from winnowing the crowded field of mainstream GOP contenders and allowing it to unify around a standard-bearer, New Hampshire thrust it further into chaos. Marco Rubio, after taking steps last week to coalesce the backing of the partyâs upper echelons, saw his momentum halted in the state, which punished him for delivering an overly scripted debate performance.

So they're not dead yet. But this is liberal NH, so they probably expected better.
Trump will drop a 55 gallon drum of whup a$$ on the rest of them in
SC.
+1
Humpty Christie fell off the granite in New Hampshire and the establishment can’t put him back together again.
Just like 4 years ago, the wealthy, northeastern, flip-flopping, establishment billionaire who loves socialist medicine and other government programs won NH. Hopefully we won’t make the mistake of giving him the nomination again.
I know most conservatives view Christie as a sell-out(correctly)and thus don’t like him but he is 100% preferable to Jeb or Rubio. I can see Christie as a good AG in a Trump/Cruz administration.
“I’m sincerely interested and trying to sort things out.”
Me, too, but man, how long has it been since we’ve had this kind of good news in politics? I can’t help but be grateful...
Your imply Trump is another Romney. That’s simply not true.
Exactly.
The entrenched pigs-at-the-trough GOPeers were WARNED we have had enough!
They, of course, in all their smarmy arrogance, refused to listen. They STILL refuse to listen.
There will be blood.
Fair trade, not 'free' trade. Enforcing a two way street.
Yeah, candidates aren't allowed to make up their own minds any more. Pundits and other campaigns make their decisions for them. /s
They don't plan to air it until the general election, if Trump wins the nomination.
“Until we have driven a stake through the campaigns of Yeb! and YoungYeb! they are still a threat. The RNC/GOP still has tricks up their sleeves.”
Absolutely! The “brokered convention” is still a possibility if either of these worthless turds are still in the running, Kasich as well.
Oh please, they didn’t even try.
HAHAHAHA - All I had to see is Glenn Beck’s name.
Time to kick them into the abyss.
Well, it is true that Trump criticized Romney for his “heartless” policy regarding illegals and self deportation.
Obama has vetoed eight bills, most recently the bill to repeal Obamacare. None of these vetoes were overridden, because the votes to do so simply weren’t there. You have to go back to the Johnson administration to find presidential terms in which there were no overrides.
Ever heard of “show votes”.
I repeat, they didn’t even try.
What’s the point in trying if you don’t have the votes to override? That would be the definition of a “show vote.” Nothing can change legislatively unless and until there is a veto-proof or filibuster-proof majority in Congress. Now, if/when there is such a majority and the leadership does not push a conservative agenda, there would be an entirely different situation.
