I heard T. Gowdy gush over Robot Rubio. Seemed a little over the top. Rubio is an empty suit who is wound up to utter memorized replies.
Notice that Gowdy, Rubio, and Cruz all are lawyers. They can be, and have been, very successful in their field. But I have noticed that when it comes of off-the-cuff communication and responding to unexpected questions, they choke. When they’re working in court they know the sequence of questions they’ll ask. (”Never ask a question you don’t know the answer to.” They have other questions prepared. It’s basically scripted. All “empty suits” as you describe.
I want someone who can think on his feet and make excellent decisions, even if impromptu.
Yean, I did too.
They continue to dismiss Trump as a buffoon. These guys, who have not stood up to Obama for 8 years.
They talk about Trump as if he’s imaginary, as if we’re going to wake up and he’ll be gone.
“Hey, Trey. Your boy Rubio, and Bush and the others, are not fit to tie my shoes. I thought you were a cut above the rest, you’re not. You’re another two bit politician that knows nothing.”
Trump is going to have events these next few days that will knock the socks off the competition. All it will take is a few mainstream politicians to come on board for him.
I heard a bit of Trey this morning. I was disappointed when he endorsed Rubio. He was going on about how great he is - I basically tuned him out. I used to have a lot of respect for Trey, based on his questioning on Benghazi; however, that’s ended up with nada and I don’t think it will; and, then the Dims and Elija Cummings will go on about the VRWC (Hillary has been bringing that up again) and how many dollars were spent (of course the Dims on the committee won’t mention the extra bonuses they gave their staff last year).
I used to think Trey would make a great AG, now I’m not so sure.
