It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to share the image with someone else like putting it in your email list you do one thing. If you want to share it with someone on this site you do another thing.

Go here in order to learn what to do when you grab an image address and scroll down to “How to add images to your post”:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3378678/posts

And now - this is how you grab and image address:

Place your cursor over the image you want to copy and double click (with a mouse) or two finger it if you have a laptop.

When you do that you will see at the bottom of the square that popped up
“Copy Image Address” Press that and you will have grabbed it. Then you can place it in the forum according to the way you have learned during the lesson at the hyperlink above.

If you want to share it on your email you press “Copy Image”

Images are a lot of fun to add to threads. Have fun.

Are these instructions for an Apple??

On Windows; you right click the image and a menu appears with a lot of selections in it. Down at the bottom of them is PROPERTIES. Select it and the URL address of the image will appear in another box.

Copy it, then...

...your, "I don't know how to post a pic." days are OVER!

You do NOW!!

Merely paste the address ( like THIS one) http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc70/tpjdmm/knock-knock.gif

between the QUOTES, and you're good to go!

<img src="">

Here's how it works:  <img src="http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc70/tpjdmm/knock-knock.gif">

giving you...

If you want your cursor to display a message when on the picture, than add THIS
 alt="" between the img and the src text with your messge inside the quotes like this:

<img  alt="Here's Johnny!" src="http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc70/tpjdmm/knock-knock.gif">
