So what? Every business pays taxes, that doesn’t make them public entities. Unless they are funneling all their profits back to the taxpayers, they are PRIVATE entities, not PUBLIC.

Does paying taxes give them the right to TAKE our property rights away? Because that is exactly what you are advocating, whether you realize it or not.

How exactly Trump wins a general election with less a third of the GOP primary voters remains a total mystery to his sycophant supporters.

1/3 > 1/10 Pretty basic stuff really.

So you are expecting that the total Democrat vote in the general election will be 10% of the Republican primary vote.

That's not math, that's a mental delusion.

Here’s another person that can’t talk with using terms like fascism.

When the jack boot fits, you are the one that sticks it in your mouth.

“The video linked is just Ted Cruz quoting the Constitution.

That’s supposed to be some big revelation that incriminates him?”

Apparently, if you understand and advocate for the Constitution, that is supposed to be a negative for Trump supporters. That’s the takeaway message I’m getting here.

The only alternative is that they KNOW Cruz was just advocating the constitutional position on eminent domain and decided to intentionally chop up the video and lie about it in order to deceive people into thinking that Cruz is advocating the same position as Trump. They wouldn’t do that, would they???

Eminent Domain for pipelines and highways is totally different than taking an old woman’s house for a limo parking lot for a private owner. Even goofball Jeb can see that.

Well, we know Trump will build a wall, because he’s going to make Mexico pay for it. And put in a really big door, to let all the deported illegals back in, since he promised that as well.

” Most likely, Trump, who I support right along side of Cruz, was abusing ED. I don’t know the facts of that case. If he did, shame on him but the country needs him in the Oval Office. That fact “Trumps” all others.”

I can respect this. You understand the issue, are honest about what the significance is, and just disagree that it’s the most important issue to take into account.

What I can’t respect are all the “conservatives” around here who suddenly pretend that either:

a) there is no issue with eminent domain abuse to be concernced about
b) there’s no possible way Trump might have been on the wrong side of that issue
or
c) advocating for ANY use of ED automatically excuses any possible abuses of it

Honestly, your comment was the first comment by a Trump supporter I have seen on this topic that didn’t fall into categories a, b, c.

I found the questions Trump will be asked in the general election debates. Good luck with that, Donnie.

CNN showing this ad as part of a news report 11:48 pm EST.

"Anyone who thought it was negative before, hasn't seen anything yet."

They also showed the negative Trump ad, against Cruz. "Washington insider"

The Keystone Pipeline is for private profit, too.

The eminent domain controversy is not about using eminent domain for a public purpose (like a wall on the Mexican border), it's about using eminent domain for private benefit—taking private property and using it for a casino or a mall, for example.

The use of eminent domain to benefit private businesses that make deals with local officials is what Trump supports, and what the rotten Kelo ruling allowed. Cruz does not support this.

"Do you support the KeystoneXL pipeline?"

Yes, it is an infrastructure project that will improve national self-sufficiency and security. Very different from a casino.

Government shouldn’t be building stadiums.

But the typical stadium deal is for the government to build and own the stadium, and the sports teams to lease them.

Also, they generally aren’t located by the private business, but where the government wants them, and mostly it is in business districts, not taking people’s houses.

So you are expecting that the total Democrat vote in the general election will be 10% of the Republican primary vote.

I recommend you step back and catch your breath, you've had a long disappointing day. Trump wins the primaries because he has more republican/conservative voters then any other candidates. In the general Trump will have 95% of the republican/conservative voters plus 20% crossover voters.

CNN thinks the Trump ad is more likely to be effective.

Cruz supporter, Carpenter, thinks the Cruz ad is effective. She;s the only one on the panel to express that thought. More seasoned observers say it is undocumented, too cute, too creative, not likely to move voters.

Jury is out, of course, I'm just reporting what is said on CNN.

Five judges telling 320 million people what to do.....sounds like Charlie Manson. Only when he complained it was 200 million people. And by the way, both he and Cruz are right.

I signed a nice oil lease on a small plot. Deal was between them, and me and my lawyer. I got what I asked for.
