No, Obama has not been temperamentally perfect. Too often he's been disdainful, aloof, resentful and insular. But there is a tone of ugliness creeping across the world, as democracies retreat, as tribalism mounts, as suspiciousness and authoritarianism take center stage.

Obama is the most divisive President we have ever had. He is responsible for tribal politics. He is the authoritarian who governs by executive order. Obama's weakness and lack of leadership is creating the chaos around the world. This is what happens when the US retreats from its global leadership role.

Early on, Valerie Jarret told some media goof that Obama was ready to rule on day one.

American Presidents don’t rule.

East African Muslim dictators rule.

From the first day he met the loyal opposition Jan 2009, when he said to them ‘I won’. That set the tone.
The Collectivist Agenda he espoused during his campaign needed to be stopped. Many wished he would fail, but he has succeeded to convince the dumb masses that they could vote themselves largess from the treasury.
There’s not been any opportunity to put his thumb in the eye of the opposition. Example, he blames a bad perception of the economy on the ‘doom and despair Republicans’.
