The results are in.
Or, at least, the first results from the tiny New Hampshire towns - Dixville Notch, Millsfield and Hart's Location - that practice the time-honored tradition of voting at midnight to claim the distinction of casting the election's first primary ballots.
Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont emerged as the Democrats' big winner of the wee hours on Tuesday, with 17 votes in total, while Hillary Clinton received nine.
On the Republican side, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, Donald J. Trump and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio each had nine votes.
Oh, and in Hart's Location, a Democrat named Mark Stewart Greenstein received two votes....
...New Hampshire primaries can be unpredictable, particularly in an election when the occupant in the White House is a lame duck. With independents able to vote in either party, predicting the universe of likely voters is tricky.
So the polls heading into Tuesday's vote are a window, but an opaque one. Donald J. Trump seems poised for a win if the polls are to be believed, but by what margin remains to be seen. Another question is whether his last-minute use of an expletive to describe Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, first used by a woman in the crowd at Mr. Trump's final rally on Monday, will sink in with voters.....

I can’t believe anyone would bother to waste ink on an article about 9 votes.
I can’t believe a candidate has so little respect for his fans that he uses foul language.
But, to each his own.
It was 32 votes, but :)
I have a friend in NH. He says it’s going to be closer than people think. 40% undecided/independents going into this thing.
It would be funny if Mark Stewart Greenstein won the Democratic primary in New Hampshire...He seems to be the most sane...
I cannot believe CW bothered posting multiple article here about 9 votes.
It will be interesting to see how many NH libertarians go for Cruz.
Those towns are always the first to vote....it is about the only time they get in the news...
“I canât believe a candidate has so little respect for his fans that he uses foul language.”
Cruz people and their pedestals, and their retarded attack meme of the day.
“Trump said PUSSY!! How shall I ever carry on....wait, I siad it too! Now I’m going to hell! Oh no! I said Hell! Damn you, Trump.....Now I said damn!!!!!!!”
They are just so much better people than we plebes, obviously.
The moment they hear Cruz say one of these oh so terrible words, they will rush FR to talk about how “real” he is, and that he is showing that they have “gone to far” and that he is going to unleash his righteous warrior spirit.
Prediction for tonight:
Liberal Kaisch finishes 2nd or 3rd and become the new darling of the GOPe Media machine.
“Democrat Martin O’Malley was expected to be the first presidential candidate to file to run in the New Hampshire Primary on Wednesday.
Then Mark Stewart showed up.
Stewart, whose full name is actually Mark Stewart Greenstein, lives in West Hartford, Connecticut. He said he plans to run in New Hampshire because “You’re first, you’re most important, and I live nearby” and South Carolina.”....
Nice try but “fail” on your “clean-up in aisle 7” post.
No ink - just 1’s and 0’s.
The fact that you think anyone really cares about “pussygate” is the fail.
Average people with real problems are looking at the Cruz people like they are the most out-of-touch busybodies in the nation.
I can't believe you support a candidate whose face is made of play dough.
By the time the Presidential Primary rolls around at the end of April, it is pretty well decided, so I tend to keep a "D" registration so I can vote for the sanest candidate down ticket, an increasingly difficult job to find even one.
Hey, I didn’t start the “snots” on this thread but I gave back.
Interesting. I don’t believe undecideds decide on Trump at the last minute. That’s just my guess.
