I’m 75 years old, honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. I have NEVER used the VA because I believe that the care should go to those more needy and more brave than I.
You’re a good man.
Thank you for your service.
May God keep you in good health.
That is wonderful. Apparently this guy thinks he needs to the help from the VA. I don’t begrudge him of it as he earned it. He just waited too long and it is obviously becoming difficult to prove he is who he said he is.
The fault lies in all those people who claim they are a veteran and find out they lied. The last two years it is an almost epidemic and now that you can’t be charged, they’re will be a ton more.
God bless you, sir. And thank you for your service.
It also may have kept you living longer, given how many of those places mistreated veterans’ health problems.
I’m 70 and only go to the VA with my VFW post to play bingo with them, serve pizza on any month at has five Sundays.
My friend was a Marine 9 years. Now he’s old and needs hearing aids. Doc said he could get them cheap from the VA. He said he has plenty of money, let the poorer vets have the cheap ones.
Agreed. VA health care is for those with major injuries in combat. It is not for Viet Nam vets like me. If Im crazy, I cant blame it on the Army.
In my opinion, the VA is not there for stupids who crash their car drunk either.
Vietnam combat veteran bump....
Amen Brother!! 75 and honorably discharged from the Air Force. I also have never used the VA for the same reason.
