Super Bowl celebrates LGBT love, Black Lives Matter
World Net Daily ^ | 2/8/2016 | Staff

The NFL's Super Bowl 50 halftime show was embedded with an array of political messages hiding in plain view. From the rainbow theme to the Black Panther suits worn by Beyonce's dancers, the show was meant to celebrate a social platform that took its cues from the Democratic Party in a key presidential election year. "Everything at the Super Bowl halftime show was covered in rainbows, from Coldplay singer Chris Martin's shirt to the stage he was dancing on," noted Seth Millstein, a writer for Bustle.com, a left-of-center website targeting women readers. "At first, it seemed like an arbitrary artistic decision, but the intent became clear at the end. After the performances were over, the audience flipped over rainbow-colored placards that read 'Believe In Love,' a tacit endorsement of marriage equality."

The Super Bowl's pro-"gay" marriage moment was "refreshing and unexpected, and illustrated just how much public sentiment on the issue has changed over the last several years," Millstein gushed, noting that the game was hosted by San Francisco, a bastion of the left. Millstein said he "felt a chill down my spine (the good kind) when I saw 'Believe In Love' displayed so prominently at one of the most popular sports events in America. This was a combination of local pride, I was born and used to live in San Francisco, and the simple reminder of the country’s progress on LGBTQ acceptance."

In another facet of the NFL's halftime show, female pop star Beyonce and her dancers took on a decidedly anti-cop tone, coming out in Black Panther costumes to perform for millions of viewers around the world...

That post was just about the Coldplay part, we didn’t sick around for the other acts. Also I’m not saying it was either a good or bad thing, just probably not a gay thing as much as Chris Martin flaunting some self-professed enlightened status.

It all stared off will worship to the state. Song of praise to the state and then government war planes. Government insinuating itself into everything, even sport.

I’m glad I switched over to the Puppy Bowl at halftime. I bet a substantial bunch of people holding those placards had no idea they would be endorsing homosexuality.

She looked awful in that slut suit.

It's best to leave a little bit to the imagination. It is possible to cross the line from alluring to gross.

I’m glad I switched over to “The Lawrence Welk Show” on PBS.

But that’s just it, the NFL does it to get all the people who normally don’t watch football. And it works. That’s why I pretty much just take an occasional glance at the game instead of sitting down to watch it. I do sit down and watch the Conference Championship games though, for me, that’s the best day on the NFL schedule, the Super Bowl is anti-climactic.

Sponsored by Turkish Airlines too.

Has anyone else noticed the NCAA college football championship logo looks like an Al jazzira logo?

LOL.

As soon as the first half was over I tuned into a food network show ... and magically when I switched back to CBS, the 2nd half kickoff was going through the endzone.

There was a halftime show?

Watching the halftime show with my two young kids, Beyonce steps on stage and starts gyrating like some sort of dog in heat.

<><><><

The wardrobe function (why do they continue to call it a malfunction when it was done purposefully) from a few years back should be enough to advance with caution on the halftime shows.

I did not know who the half time singer was.

A singing stripper. Not even remotely entertaining.

Instead of watching the Super Bowl, I went to the movies and saw “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”

I’m glad I did. Great movie about some real heroes.

Well, I’d say your timing was perfect. I have to purge my memory from the grotesque Beyonce show with her gyrating monkey brigade.

I stopped watching a few years back after watching the Cirque du Soleil Gay butterfly’s in their pink and purple spandex prancing around the field.
