North Korea's satellite, which was launched on Feb. 7, passed over the Super Bowl 50 game. Pictured is the country's Unha 3 at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang in 2012.
A "Shining Star" was watching over Levi's Stadium after the Broncos 24-10 win.
As football fans poured out of the Bay Area stadium, North Korea's observational satellite zipped by the field at an orbit 300 miles above the Earth at 8:26 p.m., said Martyn Williams, a North Korean technology watchdog.
"North Korea's new satellite just flew right overhead Levi's Stadium," Williams tweeted.
"I would put it down to nothing more than a coincidence, but an interesting one," he added in an email to the Associated Press.
NORAD tracked Pyongyang's satellite and its third-stage rocket booster to Earth's orbit after the country's successful launch Sunday. Kim Jong-un's isolated country cheered the "fascinating vapor" that trailed the rocket's trip into the upper atmosphere, where it will complete an orbit every 94 minutes.

That satellite should have a little “accident”, maybe meeting up with some space junk. After all, it may contain an EMP device and be hazardous to Americans.
MPs like in military police? Why?
China could have filled it with good stuff like a pinata.
Yes. Last night’s thread about it at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3394170/posts
How much weight is necessary for an EMP? Their latest test was thought to be small, IIRC, but right for a super EMP. Am I understanding that correctly?
"Loral Corp. general counsel Julie Bannerman's rush order to stop transmission of a fax from her company's Beijing office to the Chinese government came an hour too late. The 25-page document, a report by Space Systems/Loral and other U.S. firms on why a Chinese rocket carrying their communications satellite into space had crashed, had already been sent to a distribution list that included the Chinese rocket-builders. (snip)
That's what this is for:
I am not sure if some of them are still around at FR. I have only one thing to say "Go to hell." They are complicit in building Chinese war machine, especially ICBM arsenal.
Peter Vincent Pry said back in 2012 that the Norks had the power to EMP attack us. See http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/dec/19/north-korea-emp-attack-could-destroy-us-now/?page=all
Yes. . if they can launch a satellite into opbit that gives them ICBM capability.
A 2013 article about the danger we’re in: http://acdemocracy.org/u-s-vulnerabilities-to-emp-attack/
An article from 2015 noting that NORAD moved back into a facility within a mountain because its computers would be protected from an EMP attack there. They note that both NK and Iran have South Pole orbits and seem to be preparing to exploit the vulnerability caused by the hole in our south=facing radar : http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/electromagnetic-pulse-attack-threat/2015/05/01/id/642149/
So its in a polar orbit. Over Colorado right now. Perfect placement for an EMP.

“The United States reluctantly handed over a boatload of Scud missiles to Yemen yesterday after the Yemeni government promised the weapons would not end up in the hands of terrorists.
Following high-level talks between the two governments, the US navy was ordered by Washington to release the unflagged cargo ship, which was carrying the Scuds from North Korea when it was stopped by two Spanish warships on Monday in the Arabian Sea and searched.
US concerns about the shipment centered on fears the Scuds could be mounted with warheads filled with chemical, biological or nuclear materials by Iraq or another rogue state or terrorist organization.”

There is a North Korean embassy in Havana. It could contain a small satellite control station to detonate a nuke EMP satellite when it passes over the U.S.
If so, then Obama is laughing his fool head off at the way he has “normalized” relations with the regime that’s figuring to blow us up. Nice.
Not.
Do you know how long that NK embassy has been in Havana?
I wonder if there’s an Iranian embassy in Venezuela. IIRC Hugo Chavez promised Ahmadinejad a base from which to launch missiles if so desired. He also allowed planeloads full of Hamas and Hezbollah operatives to fly into Venezuela on unchecked flights so there would be no security to keep them from being - and bringing - whatever they wanted, right south of the door that Eric Holder was suing AZ to hold wide, wide open for any terrorists who cared to enter...
This is treason. This whole stinking mess is treason. And America needs to know what Obama has been doing the past 7 years to get things ready for America to go out with a bang. The commies and Islamists he’s befriended his whole life long - and helped in their endeavors - mean to see America dismantled, and Obama has given them exactly what they need to do it. Probably in November or December when he plans to be in South America, Cuba, etc gloating with them...
