Carson walked most of the way out after his name was called, then stopped right in from of the camera and grinning like a Cheshired Cat. Someone from behind was telling him and motioning him to go on out, more than once.
Gentle Ben was practicing his bit of upstaging and passive aggression. Trump could have told Ben that his name was previously called, but Trump too wanted in on the upstaging.
Now, either Carson is a pure dumbass or he was trying to be cute. No way he’s a dumbass. Trump is simply an opportunist, who is smart enough to not let an opportunity go to waste.
Iowa might have shown, someone not caught up in their own ego, that it was not a winning strategy.
That may be true, BUT Trump never misses an opportunity to make sure everyone knows about it.
Please. Trump has about as much class as Trump University.
That’s not the way it seemed at all. They both looked genuinely confused as to what was going on; but Trump at least looked as if he realized that *something* had gone wrong, and was waiting for it to sort out.

I saw this too. That was a pretty class move.
Got to give the lemmings one thing, they gots da faith.
You have to tell that to your lemming buddies, no one else will buy it.
Both indeed may be confused.
fyi amntn... could you share this with your list? Thanks.
“What happened next shows the remarkable character of Donald Trump.
The fourth name called was Donald Trump, but by then the back-stage crew and candidates were aware of Dr. Carsonsââ¬â¢ position. Trump slowly approached, and then realized the embarrassing position of a fellow candidate hanging in the wind.
Trump showed his leadership by standing right next to his friend, and not walking onto the stage.
The other names continued to be called, and proceeded as mentioned. But not Donald Trump, he remained with his colleague thereby reducing the internal anxiety felt by Carson. “
It looks like the Vet actually has two prosthetic arms; and that was a lovely way for Trump to ‘shake hands’.

That pretty much sums it up for me too.
Iowa might have shown, someone not caught up in their own ego, that it was not a winning strategy.
Do you believe that calling other people names like ‘lemmings’ will really change their minds about anything? or do you just do it because it affords you some perverse self-gratification?
I’m sincerely curious.

Thank you for finding the pic I love of Trump with the disabled Vet. I don’t know, after all these years (1998), how to post a picture. Shame on me, so thanks again for doing it for me.
Class of ‘98 — I salute you! I’m a newbie from ‘04.
Up in the top of the Forum page in the keywords is “HTML Sandbox”. It is a thread that shows you how to post pix or most of the other graphic things you want to do on FR.
Classlessness is coming on a thread that remarks on a classy move by a candidate to harp on how classless you want others to think he is, TBP. Sour, bitter and snarky is no way to win others to your candidate, nor to win the country back.
Megyn Kelly went on the Howard Stern show and talked about her breast size, her husband's penis size, and how great their sex life was. Megyn posed for soft porn. Real classy. And something tells me you already know this and are simply posing as her defender, yourself.
Btw, this was a perfect example of Trump’s character. The real deal.
