be it ever so humble........:)
” Problem was and is team Carson. “
I think the problem was an incomplete tweet. I mean 148 characters, right? Is it possible that tweeter person was not finished with the full Carson statement?
There seems to be very little evidence if any, of exactly what the Carson campaign actually fully reported to Mr. Tweeter Person.
CNN, as Bill O’Reilly was unprofessional to base such a story based on nothing more than a tweet, without confirmation.
Same should be said for Cruz people. They and CNN certainly knew how to dial up Carson, especially when they jumped to such absurd conclusions.
Both camps know the word “suspend”, and neither camp heard that key word from the Carson campaign, before they launched into pure misinformation.
Turned out it was damn costly, deservedly so.
Lots of us have known people who lived by the words: "It's easier to get forgiveness than to get permission." It's got to be one of the basic "Rules For Political Dirty Tricksters".
And acceptance of their phoney apology is what they thrive on.
Carson is a paid off freak. What a fake he is.
100% agree. This makes CARSON look bad, not Cruz.
I think the bigger thing on voters minds (if they even think of this at all) is that Ben Carson claims to have accepted Ted Cruz’s apology, but keeps bringing it up again, and again, and again.
Really though, it will NOT be on voters minds on Tuesday, as it isn’t a big issue when compared with the rest like Ntn’l security, immigration, and wasteful spending..
Just my 2
That is so funny but everything is so accurate in the SNL clip. I am surprised they showed such honesty. Typically SNL lies but this time they went for truth. How refreshing.
This was a “real issue”. Can’t you tell?
The real issue IS the launching of a ballot theft operation through misinformation.
The problem is that it was only the Cruz Campaign who launched. It was not Rubio, nor Trump, nor Bush, nor Christie, nor Kasich.
Only Cruz’ campaign was so stupid, or so desperate, or so crooked to leap before looking.
Cruz didn’t do anything wrong and Carson is trying to keep his failed campaign alive on this.
Good riddance to him; can’t happen soon enough.
That is a big part of Cruz's problem. Those votes were taken from the wannabee least likely to pull such a stunt. With that and the shaming mailing and the ubiquitous badgering for campaign donations and the back room conversation with gay deep pocket donors and the "forgotten" Goldman Sachs loan, Cruz is forever labeled as a "do whatever it takes to win" pol. Nobody's gonna' want to be associated with him.
Thank you, Liz!
That point is seldom made. I just made it also, before I saw your comment.
Carson has turned Cruz into Paula Deen. I think its going to show on NH primary day.
I guess facts aren’t part of the equation with you
I can’t imagine having another Nixon in the White House. Cruz has wanted being President since birth and win at all cost is not impressive. You would never let others get away with stealing votes from Cruz. We have already had Bill Clinton who is another one that wanted to be President since birth. No thanks. Well take Trump who is wanting to be President to fix this country and not for a need for power.
Paula Deen....hoo boy....ouch!
I’d characterize Cruz’s apology to Carson as a general sorry this happened. Kinda like saying to someone sorry you’re not feeling well. Doesn’t mean you caused them to feel bad.
Carson owes his own campaign people a heartfelt apology for being a losing candidate who TOLD CNN that he was not campaigning.
... and right after the bogus “VOTER WARNING” thing, as well.
Just what the country needs... Nixon II.
It would be interesting if they would tell us now, What is the limit of dirty tricks would you accept before abandoning Cruzio?
*Tweeting of a photoshopped document that is totally phony and representing it to originate with a competing candidate?
*Mass mailers to voters, made to look like official government business, implying that if the voter (and his neighbors, who are identified BY NAME) doesn't vote for your candidate, they've violated some kind of law?
*Your candidate claims to have no health insurance but does?
*Your candidate accepts a million from his wife's boss, and not only is it a conflict of interest---he conveniently forgets to report it to the FEC.
*AFTER the primary event begins, you immediately broadcast to the supporters of a competitor that the competitor is pulling out, which is a lie.
*You accuse your opponent of saying things that are blatantly false and easily shown to be false by the opponent's almost daily speeches witnessed in person by thousands and online by millions.
OK---now Cruzers---tell us what line you would draw in dirty tricks because these I listed are things you've indicated are ok. Now tell us what would NOT be ok?
Rafael Milhous Cruzio.
