[Carson is really showing his ass over this thing. What a disappointment.]

Oh please... if someone pulled this crappie on Cruz you and the other Cruzers would be going apesh*t over it and demanding Carson withdraw from the race.

You have it exactly backwards - Cruz has become the wronged party here.

The truth is clear. And its equally clear a fabrication is being promoted for another candidates benefit.

Trump has pulled a lot worse not only on Cruz, but on Carson and others, and no one is calling for him to withdraw from the race. This is just more Alinsky tactics from Trump's left-leaning supporters.

It would have gone nowhere fast if someone did it to Cruz because it wouldn’t ring true. At all. With Carson, EVERYONE thought it was true because of how he’s running his campaign.

The faux outrage on FR over Carson getting busted being a bad campaigner is ridiculous.

“if someone pulled this crappie on Cruz”

It would fail because Cruz doesn’t run a low energy campaign that is disorganized, lacks enough volunteers to cover the voting caucuses and can’t handle basic communication.

Carson... had all of those, but blames Cruz for his poor performance.

I think you are clearly wrong.Trump has been wagging the proven false Canada garbage for weeks and Cruz has not called for a recount. You know good and well that cost far more votes. But just because Trump insults, is duplicitous and Crass that does not excuse others to be so.

There is a difference between class and Crass beyond the spelling.

Team Carson stupidly put out the info that was reported as breaking news — he was going home and not going to NH or SC. Everyone was speculating about it. Team Cruz had a fantastic team that was able to turn around news instantly. They did nothing wrong. Carson and team are to blame but too proud to admit it. No class.

Point is, no one could pull it on Cruz, because it wouldn't be credible. If a Carson representative said, "Cruz is out," no Cruz representative would hesitate to stand up and say, "WRONG." But Carson's people apparently did hesitate, at least until Carson's wife showed up. Carson's problem is that even his own people thought he'd probably dropped out. As the reporter said in the CNN broadcast, no one who is serious about becoming president would have told the world just at that point, "I'm going home and won't be back until after the breakfast in Washington."

Cruz's people may have jumped to the wrong conclusion -- but it was obviously a reasonable conclusion, because Carson's people believed it. And that's Carson's real problem here.

The fact that Carson keeps pointing to the tweets when Cruz's people were clearly referring to the broadcast can only anger people who respected Carson in the past. I don't even shout at Obama when he says stupid stuff, because who cares what Obama says? But when I saw that interview with Carson blaming Cruz for not taking responsibility for Cruz's supporters, and in the next breath Carson refused to take responsibility for his own supporters, I literally yelped, "What a HYPOCRITE."

Cruz is just another politician. Carson was supposed to be something better, but he's not. Carson may take Cruz down with him in terms of the presidential election, but I think the lasting damage is going to hit Carson. Hopefully he'll come to his senses soon.
