Ben Carson said late Saturday that Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas approached him during an off-camera break at ABC’s Republican debate to apologize for his campaign’s conduct during the Iowa caucuses and requested a one-on-one meeting with him.
“He said he’s sorry that this happened and he wants to sit down and talk,†Carson said in an interview with The Washington Post. “He wants to discuss the whole thing and clear the air.â€
In the interview, Carson said pointedly that if the meeting with Cruz is scheduled, that does not mean the the senator will be absolved.
“The evidence is there,†he said, citing voice-mails that his campaign has released of Cruz allies telling caucus-goers that Carson was likely to suspend his bid. “Tapes, written communications, it’s all out there. People have to decide whether this kind of behavior is acceptable to them.â€

He’s been a whiner from the get go.....so this does not surprise many....he covets the attention now and using Trumps playbook to retain media attention....and in time get the pay off rewarded to those who bow out when the price is right.

I stood for cruz in 3 votes and he went in there and took the punches gave them back and lived another day, Lord he is still taking the punches but he is no career politician.
To be clear CNN was body slamming Cruz last night after the debate with a point by point refutation of Cruz’s explanation for the dirty trix.

That isn’t why people’s knickers are in a wad. That’s how you’re trying to minimize what he did. People’s knickers are in a wad, because he revealed a lack of character.

To the extent that Trump even matters in this, it’s only that he made himself look foolish at the start by saying he would sue or that he wants a do over.

He doesn’t need to do anything. Cruz attacked him, that’s Cruz’s problem. His choice, his consequence.
Hillary and Sanders are not competing for my vote. Cruz is. I can’t help that he did this, alright?
If you are going around talking about the Light of Christ and doing group prayers and things like that, and then you go and do something sleazy, you are gonna raise some eyebrows.
This wasn’t underhanded in any way. Rubio tried to get things going but Ted’s camp was the most obvious. Mostly Trumpsters are the most offended. The Cruz campaign wasn’t just making things up.
Yep. Cruz is busted and its hurting him badly. Maybe he will learn a lesson in ethics from this. He will have time to reflect from his senate seat in the months to come after Nov. 2016.
