The Hillary Clinton email issue is developing into a real whodunit, complete with Clintonesque legal semantics. "I never sent or received any material marked classified," she said with respect to the discovery of classified information on her private, unclassified email server. That surface denial nearly rivals Bill Clinton's classic: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
But this is no laughing matter.
There is nothing trivial about a secretary of state having top-secret information on an unsecured computer in her home. That appears to have been the case, based on the State Department's announcement last week that 22 emails, across seven email chains, containing top-secret information were on Hillary Clinton's private email server.
At issue is whether the information in the emails was classified when it was sent to her unsecured server. It was, after all, the State Department, upon review of the content by intelligence agencies, that upgraded the emails to top-secret and ordered them withheld from the public.
Now, it may well be that some of Clinton's political opponents are out to derail her presidential campaign and are using the email controversy to do so. Or it could be the case, as Clinton's supporters claim, that intergovernmental infighting over what is and isn't classified is driving this investigation.
The important nonpolitical question: Did the nation's top diplomat or her State Department staff improperly handle extremely sensitive, top-secret information and do so in a manner in which the information could be compromised?
State Department rules are quite clear.
Top-secret information must not be placed on any unclassified systems. It must be accounted for and controlled. And no copy of a top-secret document can be made without the permission of the office or agency in which it originated.

Obstruction of justice, Making false statements, Destruction of evidence, Disclosure of classified information, Classified information on a nonsecured server...Hillary has violated all of these statutes numerous times, just based on the publicly available facts and her public statements. There should be an indictment with several hundred counts coming from the Justice Department. Her national security obligation under the law is to properly handle ALL classified material, marked or unmarked She knew the rules. She swore to follow them. And now of course she’s pretending those rules didn’t exist.

Something else I was thinking about yesterday that dovetails with your comment ..... Obama/ValJar are not going to just “wound” Hillary/Bill. A wounded Hill/Bill would be like a wounded Cape Buffalo stalking you in the brush. If they cannot strike a blow that would totally remove them from the political scene (that they want to control - Dem Party - even after Omuslim leaves office), then I think they’ll let her stumble on. Based on what I’m reading about what is being found on Hilly’s server, the comments by the legal beagles, former FBI & intelligence types, what Hilly has done is extraordinarily, horrifically damaging to national security. Her defenses are not holding up & to those who truly understand what she’s done, are laughable. This should put Hillary in jail (along with Huma, Cheryl & gosh knows how many others, including many at the State Department who knew of this private server arrangement). Bill is at risk because the FBI (per Catherine Herridge) has recovered the 30K emails Hilly tried to have wiped (i.e. hide). This enables them to pursue corruption and bribery involving the Clinton Foundation. Chelsea is likely at risk as well - she’s been up to her eyeballs in the Clinton Foundation machinations the last couple of years. One article said the FBI is taking the book that came out ‘Clinton Cash’*, that alleged corruption & bribery, & is matching up, via the emails, the pay for play schemes.
As this gets worse and worse to anyone paying attention who is not a mind-numbed Clintonbot, I think the odds of Obama/ValJar turning the DOJ loose on the Clintons becomes more of a viable scenario because they can “take the Clintos out” in a very thorough, complete way, never to be troubled with them again. Frankly, I also do not see how the intelligence community allows Hilly to become president after she’s damaged national security so badly (’for decades’ some have said - see John Bolton’s comment below as well) including putting human lives at risk - how in the heck do you operate with someone like that in the Oval Office plus there’s the CIC angle ... the troops knowing that American lives mean nothing to the Butcheress of Benghazi ... she either got drunk the night it happened or slept so very well that emails show she overslept & missed an important briefing the morning after our guys died. Anyway, Obama/ValJar taking out the Clintons is a possible scenario ..... one I’d like to see, frankly. I would like for someone to wipe that “100% certain” smile off Hilly’s face & I’m sure there were plenty of FBI agents watching that debate performance who would love to do it. My 2 cents ....

While the significance of the content itself likely diminishes over time, the sensitivity of sources and methods can last decades or longer. Compromising these sources could put lives at risk and ruin billion-dollar collection systems. This is certainly true for “Special Access Program” (SAP) reports, recently prominent because even the State Department withheld 22 Clinton emails in their entirety because they contained SAP material.

These kind of stories are starting to leak out from the MSM. They’re about to go code red on Hillary’s campaign, and they’re in full panic mode now.
The only way this will derail her nomination is if the FBI and Justice Department find her legally culpable, or Democrat voters find her morally culpable. There’s no rational reason to expect either thing to happen

Hillary has been in top positions of power in Washington for 25 years. It was her duty as the nation’s chief diplomat with a top security clearance to assess and recognize classified information regardless of official markings. If she was incapable of that basic responsibility than don’t do anything dodgy over an unsecured server that was no doubt hacked on numerous occasions.
Add Mount Pinutabo starting to erupt in the immediate background and you’ll have everything covered.
The volcano represents the pay for play scheme laundered via their foundations that the Clinton’s thought would allow them to get away with tax evasion.
I believe that this has been Obama’s plan all along, that’s whythe e-mail investigation has been drug out so long.
There is no love lost between him and the Clinton Cabal. Also, Crazy Joe’s speech on not running, sounded more like a stump speech than anything else.

I think those emails will remain a question, certainly as long as Obama is in office & can keep the contents hidden. After he leaves office, I’m guessing nothing happens.
