Sunday, February 7, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Plymouth, NH at Plymouth State University at ALLWell North. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM EST.
Trump moves more inland today for an early rally, and again it's at a small venue.
Here's some interesting history.
This was the case in every New England state. The early settlers drove the Indians out physically during the Queen Anne's War. Plymouth was originally the site of an Abenaki village that was burned to the ground by Captain Thomas Baker in 1712.
In 1806, then-lawyer Daniel Webster lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth courthouse, which now houses the Historical Society. The author Nathaniel Hawthorne, while on vacation in 1864 with former U.S. President Franklin Pierce, died in Plymouth at the second Pemigewasset House, which was later destroyed by fire in 1909. In the early 20th century, the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Company (D&M) sold products directly to the Boston Red Sox, and players such as Babe Ruth would regularly visit to pick out their equipment.

My son in his career has been bitten by both a black widow and a brown recluse. Said the brown recluse was the worse bite. BTW I’m up letting the puppies outside and while I’m typing this, Finn, scratches at the window to be let in. I think I must have jumped five feet in the air. After the ratings were released today, we do know that a good many persons had an opportunity to see the professional action of ABC for themselves. ABC = a Micky Mouse Network. :-/ Read that Cruz has requested a private meeting with Dr. C When, how soon, no idea but it is a start in healing wounds. With that and then the network flub, this week is starting rather bleak for Dr. C and no matter whether he be Presidential material or not, he is a decent man who deserves better. (IMHO)
Thanks for the info about OR. We usually drive down to Seaside for a day when we go to Long Beach (it’s only about 30 miles). My sister has quite a few Iris in her yard - really pretty. I love lilies, too, especially the Star Gazer - wonderful smell.
I agree about Dr. C. I hope he endorses Trump when he decides to drop out. He would probably make a good Surgeon General, head of DHS or VA (maybe he could straighten out the mess). I read that he and Trump have been friends for years and have done a lot of work for St. Judes. Hope Cruz just wants to apologize and not talk him in to endorsing him. I think Dr. C may drop out after NH or possibly SC.
I hope he sues CRUZ. He certainly has standing and has been damaged.
To be a fly on the wall when the meeting transpires. That would be enlightening.

We have an Irish Setter, Finn, and a, Golden Retriever, Sam. We lovingly refer to them as the Barbarian Horde.
I was told that Carson is suing Cruz, and that there was an earlier email that proves the Cruz campaign planned the whole thing, which makes it much worse. I haven’t seen the email but will try to find it now.
This may be a partial explanation of why Trump has stopped discussing the whole thing: he doesn’t want to hamper the lawsuit in any way. Obviously, he is on Carson’s side in this. But the whole thing seems to be over, especially if they are meeting to work things out without going to court.
Thank you for the info. One thing for certain - this has not been nor will continue to be the same old race of yore. Politics has evolved into an entirely new animal -or has it just change its spotted colors?

Oh,and you obviously don’t know much about a Trump Rally. Helps if you have actually gone to one...Many of the red hats are purchased from vendors who have carts outside the stadiums/venues who are just trying to make a living
