Ted Cruz once again proves himself presidential

As the New Hampshire primary fast approaches, I wish to remind voters that our next commander-in-chief must be of the highest character, cut from the rare cloth of our founders.

Sometimes God gives us great gifts in ugly packages. Recent attacks on Ted Cruz from both the Trump and Dr. Carson campaigns gifted Cruz an opportunity to show his character and presidential instincts.

Could be that he really is an accomplished attorney aND orator. He has been to supreme court. May sound slick to you but honestly I will vote for trump if he is nominated however his gravelly voice, that arrogance, and his pout are much less impressive than cruz’s well reasoned responses.

Being nice, concise, a smiling master debater isn’t what America needs to repair 7 years of international damage caused by Obama.

Lol. Cruz is a great disappointment to me. Linking up with beck was eye opening... And then claiming a Canadian birth makes him natural born, tears up his claim to fame of following the original intent of the Constitution. I can only imagine what this campaign would be like if Trump had not set the table. Time will tell how well NH voters like him. Polls mean nothing to me.

I am not the one mocking God. But I can sure discern when a politician uses Jesus for self serving purposes. One does not preach Jesus for votes in one state and then disrobe and act as if Jesus stayed in Iowa.

I was born in Germany, I have known for most of my life I am not a natural born US citizen. I learned it back in school when the Constitution was taught. To be a natural born US citizen requires two US citizen parents birthing their child on US soil. Cruz and Rubio both know they are NOT natural born US citizens. Both are US citizens, but not natural born.

My personal opinion, it was to give cover to another candidate... Congress has no authority to grant natural born citizenship.

I don’t think Cruz will do well in NH. According to Gallup, NH is the least religious state in the country.

I respect that opinion, but like your case and mine, should the fact that you have American parents but by luck or draw those parents have business or military obligations that result in disqualifying you from becoming POTUS?

I really don't think that is what the Founder's intended.

It was more to prevent a true foreigner from seizing power.

Dittos, I've liked Cruz, but everyday it becomes more and suspicious, he is becoming just another politician. And the vocal Cruz supporters are turning him into an idol, just like the Obama fanatics. I keep hearing and seeing God and Jesus in the same sentences with Cruz.

If you or your children are natural born citizens, it seems it would be more important to you to protect and preserve your and their birthright. We got Obama because the majority in this nation subverted the Constitution.
